The 2 door men who stood either side of a nearly nineteen year old girl tonight and drilled her for i.d need a lesson in manners. Although she didn't have any and of course l realise it is a requirement of law to show said i.d if asked, the manner in which they went about this was incredibly unprofessional in my opinion. They reduced her to tears and they wouldn't stop. They never questioned any of the other young adults in her company or even asked for their id's . Funnily enough she is actually older than the other teenagers she was with. There were also other adults present and everyone had a meal but for some unknown reason the door men and barstaff just picked on one young woman. The ambience is always welcoming, and it’s ideal for both small gatherings and larger group celebrations. The staff are fantastic—helpful, attentive, and warm, always ensuring you feel taken care of. Read moreVisited Friday 03rd December 2021. The Manager, James Goldsmith, had responded to my friend very swiftly with a letter, which prompted this visit. The staff were very welcoming and attentive and it just got better. The food was served hot, promptly and with a smile. The photos speak volumes 😊. Thank you to all, we'll be back, as Arnie says.
Very good food for reasonable prices. A good, cheap night out to suit all budgets. I really like their curries. Advise to book as it gets busy. Friendly staff and excellent food and very quick service. Excellent attention with Covid rules, make you feel safe. I have had to edit a review I did 11 months ago as I am unable to post an updated one, which is a shame. Last visited Friday 23rd October 2020. The pub is always nicely presented outside, the flowers displays...
