Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in Welwyn Hatfield

Visited about a week ago. Staff friendly and smiling. Had a fried breakfast, and it was excellent. Brought to table by staff member who could find me quickly as they now have electronic table markers. Ordered from computer screen was easy. Only niggle was the when order was complete it appears that you have ordered extra stuff when you haven't. The items it asks to confirm it separates on the list. Eating area was clean and tidy. Only wish is that a cup of tea or coffee should be included...

This place has recently been converted from an H+H and now it's completely self service. I'm normally good with technology but the touchscreen is completely baffling, I'd much rather talk to a human to order my coffee. Not very much variety on the menu as would be expected, and the coffee itself wasn't great but at least it's reasonably priced. And I do like what they've done with the refurbishment otherwise, clean and good quality...

We were pleasantly surprised by this cafe. Seating area is bright and clean. We sat in a booth, and although one side of the seat cushion was wobbly, the service, the atmosphere and the food quality made up for this slight discomfort.
