Came to this Beautiful traditional Pub yesterday in Old Hatfield with Hubby and family. Were locals and live in central Hatfield Recently refurbished and clean and tidy throughout. Small quirky rooms you can just imagine Queen Elizabeth 1 enjoying a pint and enjoy the warmth of the beautiful Beer Garden..once weather chirps up! Doggy friendly and child friendly. Read moreCould be so much more for a beautiful old pub, too many years been unloved and I fear, now it's too far gone to save. The staff were pleasant and friendly and it appeared clean (or certainly should have been given the cleaning products and dusters strewn around the bar). The beer wasn't unpleasant but was certainly coming to the end of it's useful life. Not busy in the slightest and in its current guise I can't see much altering that unfortunately. I hope to be proved wrong...
