McDonald's — Restaurant in West Suffolk

This is by far the best McDonald's we've been to. Considering that it's the same distance from ours as the Newmarket Road branch, it makes way more sense to come here.

In comparison, this branch is way more spacious, with a decently-sized car park and an outdoor eating area, with lots of seats to choose from and parasols for when it's sunny. We've yet to dine in, as we've only ordered takeaway or used the drive-thru, but I have to commend the staff as they're some of the friendliest we've come across. The overall atmosphere seems a lot happier here!

I was admittedly never a massive fan of the food from McDonald's, but it turns out we were just eating at the wrong branch. Every time we've ordered here, the food has been hot and fresh, especially the fries which have just the right amount of crisp. The double cheeseburger is my favourite, and the fact you can get that, a portion of fries and a drink for just £4.99 is insanely good value.

This is now our go-to location, as it's not only cheap and convenient, but the food is consistently...

Worst service I've ever received. Sat waiting in the parking lot for 25 minutes and still no food. We order for work as we work night shifts...most appalling service out. Shocking services after I had to go and ask for my food again. They forgot.... and with a grin on their faces. Making it fresh... yeah, right. Let me add the photos and more. After receiving the so-called fresh order. I went to work and when I got there ...oh boy were we in for a surprise. We got a fish-o-fillet(did not order this at all), then to top it, we got a deliveroo order that was made at 22:47. So now the food we were given was 3 hours old and standing on a hot pass. The fish burger was rock hard. The big mac's were disgusting. I went back to speak to the manager but he was not up for facing me as he was the one who packed the order and gave it to me. Now Mr Charles Lee was hiding in the kitchen when the staff told me he was the one to pass the order. I got offered my money back but i was only given £5.86. Again, what a disgrace. Unfortunately incompetent staff seem to be in every Mcdonalds. Went into the Newmarket Restaurant on Saturday evening (on the way home), we had to wait nearly half an hour!!! for a very basic order, after setting off and starting to eat our food, I noticed my box of chicken nuggets had been totally left out. I tried contacting McDonald's on facebook as they can sometimes be helpful but unfortunately they were very slow at responding. We then had to go to the next available McDonald's to actually fulfil my order, spending points on the app. (I would have gone in but my partner had already done the order with the points). Since then we have heard from McDonalds and they don't believe they should have to compensate for the lack of chicken nuggets AND the inconvenience caused. Only one or the other. Which isn't acceptable and nor is their staff being totally incompetent and messing up the most basic of orders. They are now ignoring me and refusing to give me a contact email address of a manager who can speak to...
