OK but not really accessible as states on website. Clearly categorised as accessible by someone who has never used a wheelchair
This was a pleasant evening but I do object to places advertising themselves as accessible when they've just stuck a ramp at the toilets. We had a nice evening but there is 1 disabled bay which is parked in the most unaccessible place so we could get in but as there are parking bays surrounding it, struggled to get back out. The seating areas themselves are also not wheelchair accessible, I was able to wheel my husband in but we were very limited to where we could get to .the seating is either benches that if you put a wheel chair on the end obstructs or they are high stools that leaves a wheel chair user talking to people's knees. Disabled toilet also not accessible, the ramp leading up is too steep that someone self propelling rolls back down but if you are able to get up there the door then opens out onto where the chair is. If you are going to label yourself wheelchair accessible, please do your research, it is disheartening to come out for the evening and realise you are going to struggle. Perhaps hire someone In a chair to check this out before you make bold claims. Accessible means someone in a chair can access and my husband was not able to do this without my help. A real shame as had the potential to be a good venue with the right tweeks.
Some food good , but not all, long waiting times and most items run out by 7pm.
Bar staff not the best, lady tried to serve and charge me for a pint insisting id ordered it.I hadnt.Rather than just amending had to have a little debate...
Read moreBottomless brunch yesterday was really unorganised, and seemed to be designed so you didn’t get value for money. We had 6 tickets booked - we expected to be able to arrive just before 1:30pm when it started and show our tickets and be seated…. We were SO wrong. On arrival we had to queue for over 20 mins; the queue was slow as people were poring welcome drinks as you arrived… well fizz is not quick and easy to pour, so held it up. When we got to show our tickets we could see a 6 person deep queue at each of the bar stations, so we asked if it was table service for brunch… NO we had to get in the queue! We asked where we were seated to be told there was NO plan and to just find a space… there was 6 of us, how do you just find a space for 6 people? We had to leave the stage area and find a bench at the back of the venue and not be part of the brunch atmosphere. We went to the bar and you could only have 1 drink at a time… we’d already lost over 20 mins in a queue and 5 mins trying to find somewhere to sit 😩. You also had to queue up for food! The food vendors served good food, however 1 person in our group didn’t get their food… the food order ticket must have gone missing, so 30 mins later after waiting with a buzzer we went and asked the vendor. Thankfully it was rectified but this just added to the overall disappointment of the brunch!! Really badly designed and definitely not...
Read moreWent to grab some food and got a selection from a few different vendors. The honey and feta spring rolls were lovely, as were the pizza and steak fries.
However Pattersons was a severe disappointment. I ordered 250g of chicken, S&P hash browns & chicken gravy. This took over half an hour for our buzzer to go off yet I watched my chicken sit under the hot plate for over 10 minutes. With the venue being mainly outdoors, by the time I got all my food, the chicken was like warm at best and the chicken gravy was pretty cold meaning it was super thick & gelatinous. Both mine and my friends S&P hash browns/chicken were pretty flavourless also and when we went back to ask, all we got was a wide eyed look from 2 17 year old girls who didn’t seem to have any idea how to rectify the situation other than shrug and pour more seasoning over our food and hand it straight back. When we told them our food was Luke warm, they said the chicken had been taking ages to cook.. it wasn’t even busy at this point but clearly operating more than one fryer wasn’t an option.. So now we have cold chicken and hash browns covered in raw seasoning which isn’t how it should’ve been cooked.
To top it all off, I then found a hair in my chicken. I didn’t bother to go back and I’m severely disappointed that I paid £15 for cold and...
