Galloways (Bakers) Ltd — Restaurant in Wigan

I called in this shop today and I was behind two other gentleman. I observed the two ladies serving both where very miserable not once smiled or acknowledged the customers not even a yes please or thankyou. The gentleman who was served first was very polite and tried conversation he said thankyou and got no reply. The second gentleman actually bought the two ladies a meat and potato pie and said enjoy as I know you can't accept money. What a lovely gesture I thought even if they where both rude. I asked for 3 meat and potato pies. I could not believe she served me with the 2 pies still left on the counter from the gentleman and charged me and put another on top. Now if you can't accept a pie then don't try and sell it on to the next customer like me who has witnessed it being bought for you. I got no thankyou not even eye contact. They are the most rude ignorant assistants I have been served by. Customer service skills are zero. I will go to muffin man next time. This needs to...

Went in for lunch Thursday around 2pm not much left ,that I can live with as they could have had a busy lunch that day but the customer service was appalling after a short wait it was my turn to be served as the assistant was in the middle of serving me a bloke came into the shop and said to the assistant that she had given him the wrong sandwich the assistant then went over to the bloke and took the sandwich off him and placed it back in the fridge for sale when this had already left the shop and therefore shouldn not have been put back out for sale the assistant then went off in the middle of serving me to make him a new sandwich I had to ask the other assistant to finish serving me all in all terrible...

Staff need a major lesson in customer service, was served by the rudest sour faced woman, never met someone with so little enthusiam for her job and the food has very little choice and is of poor quality in comparison to other similar businesses. Spend your money elsewhere. I've also been violently ill since eating from this place so I feel like their hygiene practices are questionable also as no gloves or tongues were used to touch the food.
