Dined here a while back and was impressed with the breakfast so headed across town to get breakfast before work. Ordered pancakes with berry compote. 3 Warburtons pancakes with some heated up frozen summer fruits with not a hint of sugar, so sour and so watery the pancakes became mush and disintegrated. Came with cream instead of the yoghurt advertised. Told the waitress I wasn’t happy and couldn’t eat it and reiterated this at the till yet I was still charged £6.50 for the hideous food, so essentially I paid £10.60 for a coffee, wasted 45 mins of my day and had to walk to the nearby Wetherspoons to get fed before work. Really sad as this was a little treat and I’d been excited for the high standards as per the previous visit. The waitress apologised but still charged me. Not good!

What a place. My family and friends they know me that I'm very fussy guy. I been a chef and i know what Good Food means. This place those that. Amazing food, beautiful and very comfortable place inside and not to mention Well Trained and Welcoming Stuff Members. I don't think 5 🌟 are enough for them. Thank you very much to you all.

We have a fabulous afternoon at Poets Corner, nice wine and amazing food 😋. Staffs are very welcome and friendly. Love too going back soon for a relaxing drink and enjoy the best tapas in town.

Superb!

Make sure you call and book!!!

It's a small place and best to call and reserve a table so as not disappointed.

There is a few free parking spots on the road at the side which is handy.

It was our first visit and we missed breakfast but they seated us and we had drinks before the lunch menu started. The food was delicious, I had the Lancashire crumbly cheese and pickle sandwich. It came with coleslaw and salad. Everyone else really enjoyed the food. It was good quality and I liked that the side salad wasn't just lettuce. It had peppers , onion, tomato.

The toilet facilities were very clean and nicely decorated. I liked that they had Molton Brown soap and...

I've been here several times, but went most recently for breakfast on a Sunday. The breakfast was really nice and there is a lot of choice on the menu. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I realised that what I like most about this place is the atmosphere; it is calm and relaxed even when it's busy. You aren't rushed when you're eating and you can just relax and chat - and order more tea! Although there was a large table with 2 (or even 3) babies next to us and it was full, it wasn't noisy. It's a calm oasis in Swinley and I love that about it. I've been in the evening a few times and it's the same - no loud music, no people shouting at each other. It's my...
