Tables were dirty and littered with crumbs, and the floor looked like it hadn't been properly swept in days. The overall ambiance was uninviting and did not set a positive tone for my meal.

As I approached the counter to place my order, I was met with a line that seemed to move at a glacial pace. Despite only a few customers ahead of me, the staff appeared disorganized and overwhelmed, leading to extended wait times that tested my patience. When I finally received my meal, I was dismayed to find that it fell far short of my expectations.

The chicken pieces I ordered were disappointingly overcooked, with dry, tough meat that was nearly inedible. The breading was excessively greasy and lacked the crispy texture that KFC is known for. We visited KFC today, and I specifically requested chicken breast due to a recommendation from my doctor, as I’m currently pregnant and need to be cautious about the type of meat I consume. My husband drove 20 minutes to the restaurant to place the order, only to be told there would be a 20-minute wait for the chicken breasts. Understandably, he agreed to wait.

However, as he stood there, the manager, who was clearly frustrated and visibly unhappy, made her feelings known by huffing and puffing in the background. She then changed the wait time from 20 minutes to an outrageous 90 minutes, with no explanation for the sudden increase. My husband asked for a refund at that point, as it was clear that no one was interested in helping.

It’s incredibly frustrating, especially when we made the effort to travel, only to be met with such poor service. The manager’s attitude was completely unhelpful and disheartening, making what should have been a simple order into a stressful experience. UPDATED - my second one star review of this place. A year later and standards are still below acceptable. I've never had an order correctly delivered from here, one incident I waited 2 hours and had to walk down to the restaurant to chase my order. The staff seem to be overwhelmed and there is no management presence.

2021 Pretty poor. The chicken was really greasy, especially the wings which felt like they'd been sat there a while. Chips were soggy too. The staff were rude - whilst I understand there are restrictions on where to stand and how many people in at one time there's no need to shout at the customers.
