Hi my name is tracey . I was recommend the cavary at the argyl by James the chef, I must say it’s was just like a home roast .👌different types of veg which was good as no water soaking up your plate . Nothing worse ! Roast potatoes were crispy & cooked to perfection . Meats nicely cooked & not sliced to an inch of there lives !(some carvaries on the thin sides with meats)very family orientated today wich makes a good atmosphere.i even got desert wich I never do . Amazing 😉 Need asleep after it .i would definitely rate the food & pub .see...

Lovely pub,lovely staff,friendly locals, good selection of beers wines and spirits,TV screens for the sport,good atmosphere when the football is on,especially Liverpool, pool table,quiz night and entertainment to suit all,clean,gents spotless,soap ,hot water and a hand dryer, so no excuse not to wash your hands,so when you're in Eastham/Bromborough, take a walk or get the 38 bus,onto Plymyard Avenue,and you will find the Argyll and sutherland, call in,you won't be...

It's cheap enough. But felt like I was in a soup kitchen. Food was average....but Sunday roast without no beef? The pork I couldn't eat as was too fatty. Veg were bland and tasteless.

Dessert took forever and when it did instead of coming to my table she slid it through the rails and all the custard slid off as dessert was on a flat plate.....slid off all over seat my pants and my handbag. No offer of lost custard.
