Having placed an order through Uber Eats, 25/2/23 2pm, which included a pack of 12 MIXED cookies, as described in the online menu from Uber Eats, for them to all arrive as ‘rainbow candy chip’, the least favourite flavour in our household, I contacted the shop to be told I could bring them back to the shop. As I explained that I was unable to, I did however ask if the shop could see that the Uber eats app menu offers a mixed box and explained that as an online customer there is no choice to change the flavours. The person on the phone said that my order read double choc and white chocolate with macadamia, of which I did not receive any. Eventually the person at the shop hung up after telling me that I would have to sort it with Uber eats. I am left wondering why the box was filled with one flavour instead of a mix, as I was not informed that they were the only type available during the course of conversation. My experience with Subway New Chester Road, Eastham, wasn’t very pleasant after speaking to the member of staff on the phone, I would not recommend them which is a shame because normally the service inside the shop is good, HOWEVER, I would recommend the UberEats delivery person and UberEats app which dealt with my query swiftly after sending a photo of the Rainbow cookies which have been passed onto a neighbour...
Read moreTerrible Customer Service. Asked for a sub of the day. The staff member asked if I'd like grated cheese as it's recommended for that particular sub, he then started putting it on without giving me chance to answer, I had to stop him to get the cheese I like. Also I asked him to leave a topping off which I didn't like to which he responded 'Well, it's not a sub of the day now is it, nothing like'. This made feel very uncomfortable especially as other customers were present. I don't spend money to be made to feel like I'm a naughty child. I've never had a subway with so little topping portions on. I even had to ask for more onions as he put three pieces on....
Read moreNever enough staff in this place. Waited 15 minutes in a queue of 3 people only to be told when I got to the front that they didn't have any meatballs. Surely that's a staple of their menu? As I'd waited so long anyway I waited on the meatballs to be warmed up. Staff seemed interested, rushing from one sandwich to the next and dealing with online orders. Of the two members of staff only one was making the sandwiches, the other was waiting by the till, not sure why because they can't take the money until the sandwich has been made.
