KFC — Restaurant in Wirral

Dreadful experience, orderd on just eat, half the order missing other half cold. Rang the branch, who said the rest of the order was sitting there if I would like to come and collect it!! Erm hello, Just paid for delivery so why should I know collect it when it's your mistake. Traveld to collect and return cold food. Totally ignored me at the counter,even though no one else was waiting to be served. 2 staff looked at me and turned their backs to me to have a conversation for the next 5mins. Two other staff came to join them and also ignored me. Eventually, I asked if anyone was serving or just ignoring customers? They just looked at each other, and 2 of them walked away. No one asked what I wanted even though the open KFC bag was on the counter 😤. I explained that it was an incorrect delivery . They took the bag away without comment, not even an apology. After about 10 mins, they returned with another bag, still no apology, no offer refund of delivery charge or any sort of money off voucher, etc, as a goodwill gesture. When I got back home, the chips and fillets of chicken were inedible due to the excess amounts of salt that had been poured on them. The paper bags were full of salt. The boneless chicken on my son's burger was also covered in salt. The only thing that was edable was the bbq sauce because it was sealed. Total waste of £36.00 and clearly the replacement food was sabotage with extra salt by the staff. I had orderd the food to be delivered due being disabled and due to my pain, I didn't want to drive, but ended up having to, as they said the driver couldn't come back with the missing items even though it was their fault. Absolutely disgusting attitude of staff and very poor customer service. As for the food, I can only say it was excessively salty and totally inedible. We won't be ordering again or wasting hard...

Food is always good. I consider the way the signature gravy is prepared to be the litmus test for a KFC branch and from here, it is always great, as is the rest of the food.

The reason for my middling rating, however, is the fact that the staff at this location consistently make errors with the orders. Over the course of at least a dozen visits during the last few months, I have only ever received a correct order on two occasions. I try to check my order before leaving, but I am normally buying a large amount for several people and it is just not feasible to account for every item once it is already packed.

I have continually been short-changed items on my visits. On one occasion, an entire 8 piece portion of hot wings was missing and after returning to have it rectified, my entire order was redone (which I appreciated, as it was now cold) but the new order was then short by several pieces of original chicken.

I'm not sure if this is a training issue or simply a fact that they are currently too busy to fulfil orders accurately, but I would implore any patrons to check their orders thoroughly...

Shocking!!! Ordered a chicken fillet burger meal, large, a regular pot of gravy, an original rice box, popcorn chicken and beans....

We had to park up to wait for the order, the man came out and asked what the order was, he went straight into the defensive to say that I never ordered a rice box and I definitely ordered a burrito. I wasn't that bothered as I like the burrito also, but his attitude stank! I took the bag and he walked away.... I opened the bag to find 1 large and 2 regular pots of gravy.... Now that's just a waste as I won't eat them because there's too much.... Also there was 2 large chips!! Again, I was expected 1 with my meal, but there was another!!!

Some would say..'why are you complaining about free food', but when you don't get what you order but you do get loads of extra stuff thrown in probably bale cause the staff don't want to explain why they've cooked too much, it really does ruin my night, especially when I have got out of bed and driven 5 miles just to get a kfc.

Will not be returning to this store .... Very disappointing!

Oh and the food was...
