P**s poor service and food. Myself and the wife decided to take the kids out for dinner but really wish we hadn't. On arrival they were busy but not overly busy but the amount of dirty tables and plates left on tables was not acceptable. The waiting staff on a whole were all over the place and no sign of organisation at one point the manager was working harder than his staff if you could call it working . Once we were seated we had a little wait for the waitress to come and take drinks orders after waiting for about 10 mins she popped up like the tv character Mr Benn. We placed our drink and food order then waited a further 10 mins for one pint of larger and 4 empty glasses for the refillable drinks . When my wife's and mine starter finally arrived we just knew we were in for a poor evening . My wife had ordered the loaded potato skins and it had been quite clearly deep fried but this was not mentioned on the menu and because my wife can't process oil properly I ate them the were over done and full of oil . The waitress came out with a lame excuse that mine was being redone as the manager wasn't impressed with what he saw so I waited a further 10 to 15 mins for my starter which was the pineapple and halloumi skewers . The pineapple was hard and halloumi was cold and as for the spiked maple syrup was utterly horrible it actually looks like something my cat had brought up . As for the mains the club 83 which was mine the meat was stone cold ( chicken and ribs ) I asked to change my chips to the sage and onion fries I was told by the waitress it already came with them but it didn't the meat is obviously cooked earlier in the day and reheated my wife had the simply chicken with baked potato and steamed veg . Well the potato was covered in butter / oil poss deep fried again her steam veg wasn't steamed veg looked more like Tescos value frozen veg and was hard cold and flavour less . Thankfully the children's meal were ok ish . But with that said my daughter's plate on the underside was covered in dry sauce so you can see it hasn't been cleaned properly . I would have brought this to the waitresses attention but once the food was brought over that was the last we saw of her no one came to see how we were or how the food was . In our opinion the most enjoyable part of the night was the salad cart . Save your hard earned cash and stick with nandos or push the boat out and go to MacDonald will never visit again it was so much better in the late 90s . It was mid January, a Sunday 12.45pm Honestly, I've never been treated like how we were at Bytfleet harvester. We tried to down load the app on 3 of our phones for the 25 per cent off main meal (it didn't work) we tried to book table for 6 would only allow 1. We arrived at the Harvester we waited 10 mins and a young lady came stood in front of us. Not even a good afternoon, we explained we tried to book a table on line for 6 didn't happen please can we have a table for 6. Reply: No tables in the restaurant, not much food if you sat in the bar it's draughty! We all looked at one another shocked. I said oh is there a weatherspoons nearby, (obviously they were too busy lunch time ) reply: about 5 miles away. Then one of us asked, ok so what food have you got.. Reply: fish, burgers spare ribs. We talked amongst our selves and thought we are starving we will have one of these options. I sent my husband to see how cold it was in the bar area, he said we won't have to wear our coats. OK 5 walked into the bar area sat down. I stayed and said 3 of us have tried to down load the app so we can receive the discount. It didn't work. Can you do something please? NO! Oh I said can I speak to your Manager please....guess what? She said I am the Manager!!! I said REALLY I'm one of those people who writes reviews! ( Look on her face! ) Oh she said I can give you a phone number for customer service they might be able to help. Thank you I said. I went to the table we all said this harvester must be losing so much business if this is how the management treat customers. Luckily one of the party down loaded the App and we did get the discount. The lady came to the table with a piece of paper with the phone no. on it. I said thank you but we have the app on his phone now. The staff who waited on us were nice. The food was alright. This experience has put me right off going back to harvester.

I’m quite a regular customer but tonight I’m gonna express the most unwelcoming and uncomfortable atmosphere I’ve ever experienced! Booked for dinner at 8:45pm and to enter the door to be told ( I think by the Bar guy ) that they’re closed and then he went to get the manager ( which he did give us a table even though we said are you sure we don’t mind leaving if that’s the case ) from there went absolutely downhill, stuff’s face was like we’ve done something wrong ,there where 5 tables with people and we still eat quick and left behind 2 more tables , we said don’t worry about salad but they still brought the pots !! The most outrageous and disgusting thing is for my 16 year old son to hear what he heard on toilet 5 min after our order ! From another room or side he heard the stuffs members calling us a very rude name “ C…. coming 5 min to 9pm and expecting us to cook when the kitchen is closed “ ! Shocked , when our son told us we couldn’t even enjoy the food not that was enjoyable anymore, not cooked well and fudge cake was hard and not warm ! I’m not a person who will make a big thing in front of other clients but if someone else would hear that conversations it would have been a massive argument in there ! If on your system says slot 8:45 and 9pm for dinner is not customer’s fault! I booked 8:45 and someone else could have booked 9pm and is nothing you can do, if it shows open on your booking then deal with it otherwise close it !
