The Flamin Chicken — Restaurant in Woking

Horrible service from Flamin Chicken and JustEat. Waited 90 min for a delivery that I had to pick up myself so ended up eating 2 hours after I placed my order. Called after waiting an hour, was told it would be 5 minutes until the driver was there. 30 minutes later called Flamin Chicken again and was told there were no drivers.

Apparently it was JustEat’s fault but sorry, Flamin Chicken could have declined the order and not lied to me. I was not able to cancel the order on the JustEat app as the restaurant had “prepared the order.” Rather than be out of pocket I ended up picking up the order myself.

When I went to pick up the order, the delivery driver had just shown up. Imagine that! He tried ringing me but I was driving. Very apologetic but not his fault. The person working at Flamin Chicken was apologetic as well but didn’t offer anything more than a sorry it wasn’t my fault.

Well start from the beginning I guess, walked in and greeted by a lovely man very polite happy to chat and have a bit of a laugh with so customer service was on point. Usually I go for a load of chicken wings and thats it but today I felt adventures, watch the KEY words here, DOUBLE chicken fillet burger meal, 5 wings and a piece of chicken. The DOUBLE burger was missing a fillet 🤷‍♂️the bun was quite stale aswell. Usually the chicken wings are banging but today they seemed very slimey almost under cooked 😕 then was chatting away and the chicken came in to conversation and I was like yea I need to try it. I tried the skin first and well it was okay wasn't to much flavour then tried the chicken itself and well it was again quite slimey. 10/10 on the chips tho hot and crispy still when I got to work. Could of just been an off day ill come back and try...

I placed my order on their website and then called them up when I realised I forgot the gravy, the man said I was their first customer to order off of their website! The food arrived for the time specified. I done my best to order little bits of everything, other than the piri piri and popcorn chicken. The chicken strippers, pieces of chicken and the hot wings are all really tasty, the hot and spicy burger was really nice and the beef burger was also amazing.the chips went nice with some salt and pepper, the gravy did not arrive unfortunately but i can let it slide, one thing I will note, on the website it said 7UP FREE but the drink that came was full fat, it didn't bother me but it might bother other people.
