Review 2: Absolutely love an recharge break at Bem. The music is awesome. The staff are so friendly. And the coffee is literally my favourite coffee place. I love how they make so many seasonal coffees. It's awesome. Review 1: Menu is limited. But what is made is oh, so scrumptious. The chicken mayo with extra avo bagel being one of my favourites. The staff are always friendly and kind. The atmosphere is always relaxed and fun. A place for couples, friends, and families of all ages.

I stopped by Bem Coffee recently, and it was an absolute gem of a cafe! I ordered a double espresso and a cappuccino. And both are exceptional. The double espresso was perfectly brewed- rich, bold, and smooth, with just the right amount of intensity to kickstart my day. The cappuccino was equally impressive! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and staff were warm, friendly, and attentive. I will definitely be returning whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

Have been to BEM a few times when visiting with grandparents. Coffee was good and service fine however was shocked at the size of the babychino (pictured, obviously empty at point of picture)which couldn’t have been more than 80ml (a typical espresso cup is 60ml so being generous!) for £1.70. I understand it’s a business and mark ups etc but the coffee was reasonably priced, so was left a bit disappointed.

Visited here for a Valentines lunch with my girlfriend who is Lactose Intolerant. The girl at the counter, cant remember her name but had crooked glasses on and the most unprofessional serving manner I have ever experienced, was too busy talking to her friend rather than understanding that my partner is lactose intolerant and must have food in aid of her condition. 3 times we mentioned it at the counter, and my partner asked for a vegan cheese and ham toastie. I can admit, my bagel was tasty, and my partner enjoyed her food also, but an hour on and she isn’t in the best condition. I advise that if you visit this place, maybe tell the server on the counter approximately 8-10 times of your allergens as 3 times is clearly not enough. If someone had a worse condition than my partner it could have potentially ended worse. So i hope this cafè reads their reviews and acts upon it before any serious damage is caused. And your sausage rolls are dryer than the atmosphere inside the shop. Get some...

Lovely little cafe in the heart or St Johns. very nice to sit inside but sadly (not to the coffee shops fault) the outside area is right on the main road which isn't the most quiet or nice place to sit especially with kids. The coffee is great, and highly recommend the iced oat latte, so is the staff. lovely and friendly. My only "negative" would be that the food is quite expensive and not the best. It's ok but unfortunately that's about it. The cake options are alright but very sweet and heavy. We've recently tried twice the new cookies they now offer but unfortunately I'm finding them at £4.50 per cookie very expensive... they aren't hand shaped and thicker on the outside than the centre and both times were dry and not very moist. the second time they tasted old and hard and I feel for the price I'd...

Great little place to have a drink and nibble.

Amazing selection of food and drinks available even in the mid pm which is when I’ve visited.

Tables to sit on outside and spacious comfortable seating inside.

The male and female staff members were attentive and helpful and when I asked the female member of staff her opinion on my whittled down choice of drink I was reliably told it was very nice (cookie and chip shake) and believe me it was sublime I highly recommend it. It was much needed on a day that’s been in excess of 31degrees.

In front of me were a family with a toddler they were offered a high chair without having to be asked. I could also see service was quick with a lot of multi tasking going on.

Definitely will return...
