KFC — Restaurant in Wolverhampton

I do not believe that any of my food was cooked fresh, or even in the last 30 mins. I will never go back here again, I hope other KFCs are more like what they used to be but I fear they no longer are. I came to this store recently for convenience early evening during the week to dine in. I have always loved KFC when I was younger but havent had it in a while. After the meal I wish I had just gone to Nandos and paid a premium it was that bad. Service was good, food was ready quickly, but almost too quickly like it had been sat ready for someone to order for a while. Tower box meal, burger bun was dry like it has been sat in an oven for some reason, bread should be soft but was hard and so dry, almost crispy. Original piece of chicken was the smallest leg piece I have ever seen, almost the size of a wing, very disappointed. Chips were so cold, had to ask him for a new order of chips. He provided me one quickly and said they were hot and fresh out of the oven....oven? Are these fries fried or not? My concern is they fry a batch and re-heat them later in the day in batches. Please can someone confirm/clarify this? The seasoning is not to my liking at all, would prefer just salt, not sure what they put on but very strong flavour. coleslaw and drink were as expected, but hard to complain about something out of a packet/cup as it's always the same. All that for over £9. Never again. Rather pay £20 at a Nandos. If I wasn't with my kid I would have given them my feedback in store and got my money back. Worse kfc ever. Gave me a snack box with 5 bits of popcorn chicken n a few fries. Took it in the shop and the guy told me it was correct. This was after waiting in a drive through for 15 min with one customer. I had to take a picture it was so bad. I’ll upload it now. Awful. It’s like they don’t want customers Literally 5 bits of popcorn chicken n a few crusty fries. He told me it was correct as it came up to a line positioned half way up the box. Meaning they make packaging with intent to only half full it !! Forget kfc. I’ll prob stop using them all together now. Not just this branch

If u was going to improve it’s should have been when the first few one stars started coming but it’s seems a year later your still hiring people that treat customers with disrespect. The first guy I approached on the tills looked at what I recived , apologised and said he will go sort it out for me. Then an Asian guy come from the back with my food in hand and told me it was normal and gave it me back!! Isn’t that against fast food policy?! If somethings opened and touched by staff they still give it back to the customer after I was told it was going to be swapped!! I think not. Ordered a trilogy box meal at KFC drive through. No notice that hot drinks was out of service. Customer service was pleasant but offered no extras or asked what size meal I'd like. No sauce offerings either.

The meal: you get a zinger burger, fries, boneless chicken strip, popcorn chicken, side and a drink. The portions are tiny. The sides of beans and the popcorn chicken are miniature and disappointing for a fully grown male to consume for lunch however are tasty and were fresh. The boneless chicken piece was nice full of the KFC chicken flavour I expected on suckulant chicken. The zinger burger was a massive miss. Had no sauce and a spot of mayonnaise. The chicken was clearly orange indicating the zinger recipe but delivered zero zingy taste at all. Not like previous orders of this burger! Salad was fresh and the chicken had good texture and bite to it.

Due to the burger being the main part of the box meal, overall disappointed. The upside is that it is a cheap meal when considering its competitors at approximately £6.
