McDonald's — Restaurant in Wolverhampton

I write this review as I felt shocked to see the state inside this fast food McDonald’s. I had to complain in the end to actually see some cleaning done. I arrived after 4.15pm and thought first time I would eat in as I had two children. Was I wrong, it would have been quicker to go through drive through as no one is ever at the desk even when your order states ready for collection you wait and wait expecting someone to appear. Let’s start from the beginning placed our order and noticed that people who were finished eating and was ordering more food got served before us. We waited over 15 min for food to arrive after I complained. The toilets were disgusting no hand dryer working proper towels, poo in the toilets! We had to walk out and look for the blue roll to dry our hands, I had to clean the tables with the blue roll no disinfectant I could find so my children could sit and eat on the filthy tables. Sauce dips were on the floor and gently disgusting. Children eat in this place and this is the busiest time however management are focusing on drive through that eating in is disgusting and no staff cleaning or just being present giving food out at the desk. This place needs a mystery shopper visit as the state it’s in needs new manager , I complained that the manager was not managing duties well as the place is supposed to be fast food mainly children visit after school. Yet it’s the dirtiest place, as a parent I clean after myself snd don’t expect much and I would clean the tables if I found the spray and paper, however the toilets having no paper or air dryer working in food place is disgusting. The staff I observed had gone to joke around whilst orders waiting to. Be sent out. It took me to complain to get the staff moving. I said u would review what I experienced and I hope things improve as I don’t think I would be eating in this filthy place! Stick to drive through as that’s the only thing I have experienced is safe and fast. Infact walk through drive through and you get served quicker. I’m sorry to write this review as not all the staff are to blame sbd I simply blame poor management as people are not allocated duties based on busiest times after school I hope this review helps, clean the tables , sweep floor provide disinfectant and bloated so we can clean if your busy. Monitor toilets, repair air dryer and put the hand towels in. Have someone managing the front desk if you press collect order then ensure people get their order....

Absolutely appalling the lack of customers service received by both the Restaurant (mcdonalds Fallings park) and just eat.

There were items missing from my order which in total cost me £15 including delivery.

When I reached out to the restaurant via telephone, I was confronted by a rude staff member from mcdonalds who had no interest in the issue as hand and had no compassion, respect for me or my distress and frustration and simply tried to just pass me onto just eat shifting the blame from themselves to the company just eat. This is wrong as just eat were not at fault for my missing item. I tried to explain to the restaurant that they are actually at fault as they are responsible for packing the bags before handing them to the delivery drivers who simply do their job and deliver what they have been given.

The lady was rude and disrespectful and offered me no other alternative than to call just eat.

Upon calling just eat I was unable to physically speak to anyone as my order was no longer ongoing. Instead the automated service advised me to report the issue online via their app. I then called the restaurant back for further advice as I wanted the missing items from my £15 meal. The same lady advised me that just eat will either offer me a refund or for the items to be delivered to me.

When in tried to repot my issue online through just eat there was no option for a re-delivery. The only offered me to submit a form requesting a refund and I would hear back from them in 7 days.

I eventually got onto a live chat with just eat who were no help what so ever. Not understanding to the situation or position I was in with no compassion and nothing to help me.

The restaurant was originally at fault and were so rude and lack customer service skills I will NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! The staff need to be retrained on how to read an order and pack a bag correctly as clearly someone is lacking in that area.

And Just eat need to make actual people available to speak to when issues like that arise and offer suitable and acceptable resolutions for paying customers. As such I will not be using Just eat again.

And on top of all that I am still stuck with not even a complete meal, still hungry, extremely disappointed with the quality of the food I did recieve and £15 out of pocket with only a vanilla milkshake to show for it.

Disgraceful. I hope you use this review to improve on all aspects of your companies.

Extremely disappointing!!! Should be ashamed...

Does anyone remember when McDonalds was a fast food restaurant chain, when you could go in, there was an open plan layout behind the counter and burgers would be in columns ready to go along with the fries and you would get your food almost instantly. Nowadays, you have the most unwelcoming, unfriendly venue, with the most awful design ever, who came up with this crazy idea, with a hidden kitchen, small window where no staff are present, because we dont want to talk to humans anymore apparently so you're trying to catch someones attention. Anyway after doing so, ordered a quarter pounder meal and a big mac meal, was in a hurry and wrongly assumed we could get in and out quite quickly. After 18 minutes of frustratingly waiting, seeing other later orders going out and the restaurant itself having very few customers inside, decided to ask for a refund as otherwise would be rushing, but of course this was ignored and was told food was ready now. Which it was still minutes off whilst they quickly bundled it together. So not having time to argue the matter, we decided to quickly eat it, which ended up being over 20 minutes wait at this point for cold burgers, warm fries and one of the coke zeros tasted strange, so shared just the one of them. I can only speak for myself when I say I use Mcdonalds now as a last resort or just to try new products when they come out and even then, I try to choose the open plan restaurants.
