Disgusting customer service.

Ordered food for collection as we do regularly. When we arrived home realised that more than half of the items we’d ordered weren’t in the bag and we had half of someone else’s order. Not that this happens regularly here but it was particularly inconvenient today because we’re going on a night shift. Rang back and said what was missing and we went back to collect it.

When I got there, a brown haired girl came over with a bag of food and a bad attitude. Banged my order down in-front of me without any word. Refused to check my food to make sure it was now correct and told me I had to do it myself. Her general demeanour was stand off ish and confrontational. When I voiced I did not appreciate her attitude I was just stared at aggressively with no apology.

We are regular customers and we enjoy the food but this is very disappointing that the staff have such a poor attitude towards their customers. From reading other reviews this doesn’t seem like a one...

The food is absolutely fantastic - healthy and very well presented (unless takeaway where it’s ‘smashed’ into one box (if you pick the ‘lunch box’). I’ve never been here and not had to wait 45 minutes for what would take similar food businesses 10 minutes. The service is always bad, not a smile or addressed if they can’t serve you immediately. The steamed veg is also ‘al dente’ - although I think this is out of laziness rather than being purposely done. I believe the issue is they allow teenagers to work without proper management - not looking for a manager with an MBA, just common sense and communication. If you like good food, but don’t value your time and customer service then definitely try here. Price is in the high end but worth it for the food - just a shame everything else doesn’t match. Could be such a good restaurant if they sorted internal comms, wait time...

Don't bother! My husband visited recently, phoned ahead so he could have a walk, they said 30mins to collect which worked great. When he arrived 20-30mins later, they couldnt find his order. Without going into detail, he waited a further 30minutes. No care, apology or consideration that they had messed up. By the time he got his food, he was still charged full price, still with no apology and a heavy rain and thunder storm had set in, so of course he was not pleased to walk back in (which could have been avoided). They still do not seem to have fixed the extract system either. The face is always full of smoke and makes your eyes water. Shame. Used to be ok but totally gone down hill and we will not be returning, rather spend our money elsewhere where they care about...
