booked a table for 6 for three birthdays got to restauant no table booked, had to wait at least 20 mins for a table to be made ready not happy has told to wait by bar which was in main entrance. finally got seated to be handed a wine menu and then menus, we chose a bottle of rose to be bought a bottle of red and told it was rose, we later asked for another bottle to be told the first one was red not rose although told it was rose. we then ordered our starters and main course, we then noticed people at other tables who had just ordered being given plates of hor d'oevres we were not offered any. starters came out they were good. mains came out five out of six were right the last was totally wrong, we told them straight away for them to bring us a knife, we then told them again that the meal was wrong they eventually checked and apologised and took the wrong meal away the rest of us had eaten our meal before the right meal was bought out, so the person had to eat alone not good. they cleared table and bought sweet menus out we ordered sweets and three coffees, sweets were bought out and two of the coffees but we had to ask four times for the other coffee not good at the next table to us they had a birthday and the waiters bought cake out to them and sang happy birthday, we had three birthdays and nothing for us. we asked for the bill and so did table opposite us, while they were waiting they bought them hors d'oevres again but nothing for us. we spent over £200 and we left disappointed the food was very good but the service we received was not good, everybody should be treated the same. the food was very good but we will not be returning any time soon which...

Food wasn’t bad, not amazing but not bad at all, I enjoyed it. The service however was very poor. We were left waiting at the door for 20mins to be seated after reserving a table, with numerous staff walking pass us and not saying a word, not the best of starts. Our meals arrived and the waiter brought a portion of chips over that we never ordered, I told him we hadn’t ordered them, he said “there is a salad for you aswell” and I told him we didn’t order a salad either. He left the chips with us and said it must have been the chefs mistake. He comes back over few minutes later with another member of staff whilst we’re eating our meals and said “we have gave you the wrong order” I said “everything is correct apart from the chips.” He said “I’m going to have to charge you for the chips as if not it will come out of his wages, is that ok?” I said “no not really as we didn’t order them, but I not going to cause a scene I’m in the middle of eating my meal.” Anyway meal finished, nobody asked how if the food was ok, the person collecting the plates said “do you want a dessert?” , which we replied “no thank you”. 30 seconds later a girl puts the bill on the table and said “there you go”. The bill had the chips included in it and a 10% service charge built in, which we obviously didn’t pay. We paid the bill minus the service charge in cash. We walked out, no goodbye or thank you from any member of staff. They couldn’t wait to get us out the door. I wouldn’t go...

What a wonderful Italian restaurant! I forgot I was in wintery England for one evening, as the service, food and atmosphere of Benedictos transported me to warmer shores.

The service was friendly, with a little bit of well-judged cheekiness, which made me laugh! We were very well looked after for the evening and given the feeling that we were welcomed and wanted there.

The food was mouth-wateringly delicious and fairly priced; not cheap but worth the price paid for it. There were vegetarian options, and some vegan variants too. I'm sure that they would have been helpful if something on the menu needed tweaking somewhat.

The beers were expensive compared to what we're used to paying, but other drinks were more within our expectations for restaurant drink prices.

The atmosphere was busy and bustling, with friends having fun and enjoying their time together. If you could put joy in a container and sprinkle it around a building, then I'm convinced this is what they do at Benedictos.

For those with limited mobility, I'd advise calling the restaurant first to ensure you can get a table downstairs. The stairs to the higher levels are narrow and steep. However, it is right by King Street car park, and so there is only a short distance from your car door to the front door of the restaurant.

We'll definitely be going again! It...

Really top notch italian restaurant in the heart of Worcester. Very pleasant surroundings, extremely efficient and friendly staff and excellent cuisine. I had the standard bruschetta which was extremely generous and absolutely delicious. The garlic bread melts in the mouth (picture shows a half portion). I then followed with a main of the house special - benedictos tagliatelle, a generously proportioned tagliatelle in a delicious sauce containing tender chunks of chicken and moist mushrooms - an absolute delight (picture is not reflective of the whole portion as I had already started eating!). With several soft drinks the whole thing came in at just under 40 pounds for 2. The only downside was that for such a large restaurant there are a small number of toilets and in these Covid aware times I was surprised to see all the servers were not wearing face coverings (though the cooking staff were). Overall though a highly recommended eaterie.

Myself and mum visited yesterday at midday and we honestly cannot thank all staff enough for their attentiveness and kindness, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by a very polite young man, we are so sorry we are unsure on his name, but he spoke to us about lots of dishes that he recommended on the menu and was very polite to chat to. We both had the most incredible dishes which were the carbonara and lasagna, the dishes were full of flavour and were the perfect portion, I have visited many times and cannot wait to return! During our exit, we spoke to a lovely lady who was wearing a green top, She was so lovely and extremely polite and friendly to us both, unfortunately I didn’t catch her name either, but she was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable! Thank you so much! We cannot wait to return! 🥰🍝✨

Searched for Italian restaurants near me, stumbled upon Benedictos. Didn’t know at the time that this was a five-star worthy, delicious restaurant with kind waiters and waitresses. First of all, the food. This was genuine Italian food and also genuinely amazing- seasoned perfectly, and the textures dancing in your mouth were just delightful. I mentioned the kind waiters and waitresses. They were caring and also very sympathetic. Good job on that, Benedictos! Plus, there was nothing wrong with the atmosphere- just the normal. Chatty, with music in the background. The restaurant was decorated quite nicely, with paintings, lights and food on display. Overall, Benedictos is a great restaurant that I would definitely recommend!
