First of all, I travel a lot and always use Premier Inn hotels wherever I go. Their staff are mostly friendly, helpful and accommodating BUT Premier Inn Hotel in Worcester City Centre was the worst when it comes to customer service specifically the receptionist. I wouldn't name the receptionist the time I arrived at the hotel. From 2pm to 3pm there were a few couples arriving at different times. I was sat in the waiting area while waiting for me to check in. I just couldn't believe that this receptionist would not check in guests even just 5 mins before 3pm. He was unhelpful and rude by saying to the guests "Sorry you have to wait for 3pm check in time" I was shocked hearing this from their receptionist. I've been to different places and used the premier inn hotel all the time and never heard of this kind of customer service. When I go to other premier Inn hotels if the receptionist sees me waiting for the check in time like 2:30pm they'd call me to check in. 5 mins before 3pm refusal to check in guests is laughable and ridiculous. Also their card keys always failed to open doors because of technical issues. I was checked in for 3 nights and I had to constantly go to reception to activate my card keys which is the most inconvenient. Their WiFi was atrocious and horrible. Keeps disconnecting my mobile phone. Overall this Premier Inn hotel in Worcester city centre was the most irritating and frustrating hotel I've ever been in. I ordered King Prawn linguine from the their restaurant (£12.50) and it had 3 prawn in it and the linguine was bland and tasteless. All I could taste was like a tinned tomato soup. Look at the picture.

Excellent location near the river. Parking is next door and not managed by the hotel and is therefore a bit pricey. £10 for 24 hours. Car park is also unavailable on county cricket match days. The hotel looks modern from the outside but when you get in I would say its a bit tired. The rooms are basic yes but even these look tired and I think I had a room where the paint on the walls was not finished properly, you could see the colour underneath grinning through which made the walls look dirty. From my room had a fabulous view of the cricket ground and beyond. There was a kettle in the room and a couple of coffee pods and two teabags but no milk. The room was clean and there was good air con. Breakfast was table service because of covid restrictions and the staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast came quickly but the full English was a tad greasy for my liking. Overall a reasonable stay.

We had an absolutely brilliant stay at Worcester Premier Inn, made even better by Mills and Louise on reception. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, funny, and genuinely interested in us even asking about our work (and pretending to be impressed, which earns bonus points!). My colleague had a small issue with something in his room, and before we could even finish explaining, it was sorted — lightning fast. Honestly, if Mills and Louise ever decides to run the country, we’d be in very capable hands. They also gave us some excellent local recommendations — clearly they know Worcester inside out. Between their professionalism, sense of humour, and sheer efficiency, they turned what could have been a standard work stay into a genuinely enjoyable one. If you’re staying here, hope you bump into Mills and Louise they’re absolute stars! 🌟

I have stayed in 2 premier inns whilst working in Worcester over the last four weeks, I stayed in the one by the M5 Motorway for 3 weeks then for the last week before breaking up for Christmas I stayed in the Premier inn in Worcester city centre which looked a lot newer than the one by the M5. I’ll start by saying that from outside the hotel looks very grand but the praise stops there, whilst there I paid for there “Ultimate WIFI” as I had work to do on my laptop, it was absolutely shocking, constantly dropping connection and so slow I couldn’t get any work done. I went to reception and told the receptionist my problem who informed me that because I’d paid through there own system for the (Ultimate WIFI) there was nothing they could do in regards to a refund but there was a number on there own page for the internet provider which I found ridiculous, nevertheless I went back to my room and spent 40mins on hold to there provider (Virgin) who told me that 7 other guests had also called for a refund. Then there’s the room, I booked a twin room as my son works with me, the room was in desperate need of a revamp, the legs on my sons bed had worn a hole through the carpet, the bed base had white stains all over it, there were dirty marks, scratches and what looked like crayon all over the walls and the ventilation system was shocking, the room was so warm myself and my son had hardly any sleep, the heating was turned down to the lowest setting with the fan on full but I could’ve blown harder than the air that was coming out of the vent in the roof. I went to reception to complain the next morning but was left standing there for just under 15 mins before I had to leave for work. We booked 4 nights but the stay was that bad we left a day early so that we didn’t have to stay there another night, I can confidently say I won’t be staying there again, I know the rooms are cheap enough but I’ve stayed in Premier inns for years but this was...

The good, if you’re looking for an easy stroll into central Worcester this is ideal. The hotel also sits adjacent to a massive cricket field and views of the cathedral are even possible.

The rest is frankly terrible. I’ve been to many PI and have given this place a fair shot staying here a couple of times. This place consistently disappoints with poor service and tired and lackluster rooms! The rooms themselves are stuffy and stink quite often as the windows cannot be opened.. You’ve got AC right? Yes but it sounds like a damn busted up Hoover, very loud!

The WiFi is downright disrespectful. Completely unuseable and frequently drops out. Oh and don’t even think about using your phone instead as the hotel is a faraday cage, little to no signal to be had inside! This is unacceptable and an easy fix, just crappy this day an age.

Breakfast is not food, even for PI standards. Staff are also unhelpful and seemingly rude and unhappy at this place (not surprising).

And for the most devastating part. The parking is an absolute disgrace. BEWARE, they will stick you with anything they can get if you let them. I got a charge for lapsing a couple of minutes. And this last stay, BOTH pay stations were “out of service”. I informed PI staff but they wiped their hands clean smugly and said that the parking doesn’t belong to them. How convenient!! Beware of parking eye and make absolutely sure you’ve paid and keep the receipts!

Overall would not recommend, this will be...
