Hing Tai Chinese Takeaway — Restaurant in Worcester

If I could leave less than one star I would. My partner and myself ordered as we where babysitting our niece. And the food took 2 hours to come granted they phoned to tell us it was on its way. When it arrived there was a puddle of grease in the bag. The chips tasted like they had been microwaved to stay hot. And beef was rare. Only the outside was brown. When we phoned up to complain they said the only way to have a refund is to put the food back in containers, and drive all the way to them from Kempsey with our niece who was fast asleep in her Cot!! Disgusting response. No apologies or anything they did not even sound apologetic. I am a manager in hospitality and I will tell you the way you reaponded on the phone is one of the reasons why you work...

I totally agree with the last comment what has happened to hing tai , we use to order alot but the last few have been a really let down, the last was the worst.. firstly your greeted with only cash tonight so you know straightaway all not good, not a problem.. Waited 45 for our Chinese about right for a Friday.. told they no longer do mushroom/onions toegether so ordered mushroom in a very weird sauce.. not pleasant..(with raw onions they didn't do.) I allways have a special curry had 1 prawn 3 pieces of chicken , some dodgy looking beef.. the onions were raw no peppers , the sauce was like water not there usual fantastic curry sauce.. so that will be our last order from hing tai.. never again ..!!!!as I've been a customer for...

Genuinely - one of the better chinese meals i have for a long time.. The prawn toast was fresh tasting, meaty and actually tasted like king prawn. The Beef and black bean sauce, had some of the most tenderised beef, however missed out a flavour kick overall the beef made up for its slight shortfall. The lettuce dumplings i have missed since i left london, and they are on par with some amazing chinese restaurants in london. Lettuce still has a bite, not slimey and broth with full of flavour the spring onions made it.
