KFC Worcester - Hornhill Road — Restaurant in Worcester

I do not usually give bad reviews - ONE STAR IS TOO HIGH FOR THIS BRANCH, but it is the lowest possible. Waited at order window for a long time (@18.00) saw no one attend or even moving around in area. Moved around corner - surprised to see two vehicles ahead of me given my wait already. Again waited and waited. 10 minutes later I saw a single coke handed over. A few minutes later two bags of food handed out. A few minutes again 4 cokes. This seemed to complete the order and van driver looked to exchange a few comments before driving off. The car in front had ordered 2 cokes only so moved up and got those before moving out. I moved up and promptly the server turned his back and ignored all eye contact or even close and started getting other drinks out. I eventually knocked on the shelf. Another 'colleague' rushed over. I explained that the other window was not manned even though I waited for a while. I wanted to order some food and had the exact money. Told I could not do that I had to order at the other window. By this time two other vehicles had appeared behind me together. Bearing in mind the eat in counters and tills were less than 30 feet behind them, I again asked to order and pay cash. Again refused. Asked to speak to manager. I again explained that window was not manned and therefore I moved on. She told me I had to go around again and order at the unmanned window (which I presume someone was now actually there serving) Again told I would have go around again even after I pointed out that other cars were now behind me. Asked why my order could not be put through on the counter - 'not allowed to' came the answer. At least it was consistent that they were not allowed to assist a customer if it meant that staff could think for themselves. TERRIBLE customer service- didn't even get any food after 25 minutes waiting and drove off to do a 12 hour shift hungry and @$$^% off. 1 star is too high for this branch. Been to many kfc's in UK and USA. YES - I did raise my voice at their total inflexibility and at their suggestion that I go around again having already been waiting 25 minutes. Never seen or been treated by such poor staff who we are told are customer friendly and anxious...

I suppose the best thing you can really say as I've only ever used the drive-thru it's like most KFC it depends on who's cooking some days you'll find it's really greasy some days it's really good the that's the same chance you take with with just about all of these fast food franchises the one thing that annoys me the most is I always ask for extra hand wipes as they've made them so small now compared to how they used to be and I find it really annoying when they say they've run out the same thing goes with the salt and napkins a KFC should never have a reason to not have have these items in stock and staff who are wearing close that it's obvious to look at that have not been washed daily I'm not saying this is all staff but KFC in Hereford and in Worcester the one on the shopping Estate of brickfields Road terrible for seeing staff in dirty clothing also the original Worcester one you have to check your order every single time I'm the amount of times I've driven off or I've heard other people who have driven off and have the wrong order or something missing is ridiculous there is a new KFC in Worcester on the ring road that runs parallel to the M5 I can't say I've had any problems from there but you can't see very well through to the cooking area from the drive-thru window and I've only used it a few times maybe 4 or 5 so I think that's gonna take a bit of time before I can give a...

It was a boring Tuesday afternoon. I'd spent the day driving what seemed like the length and breadth of the country. It was tea time and my tummy was rumbling. Normally I avoid KFC as I always get gut rot after eating there. Maybe the oil they fry the chicken in doesn't agree with me? Anyway, today I decided I'd call in. The place was empty. Like a chickeny ghost town. Some tumbleweed bounced it's way across the car park, carried on the wind. I slowly approached re counter. I decided not to use the giant touchscreen ordering thing today and decided to speak with a human. A lovely little human appeared and took my order. She was very helpful and the order was placed quickly and efficiently. The food arrived pretty quickly. I had a Zinger burger box meal. (I'm a fatty!). Thr chips are awesome! They are seasoned with the dust of the angels, really good stuff. The burger was OK but the corn on thr cob appears to be left over from last year. Or they are now making them out of wood! Rock hard and I'm not sure it has experienced moisture in a long time. So after I popped my teeth back in after my first bite of corn I continued with my meal. It was OK. The chips are ace though.
