What a total disaster this McDonalds franchise is and has been for a while. The drive through is slow, the service inside is slow, there are no iPads for the kids just four empty cases fixed to a table and there are miserable faces all around, that belong mainly to the Customers! What does that tell you about the staff and the service? I would suggest that Customers are not arriving feeling miserable which leads to only one conclusion. To top it off, we used the app to order our food for delivery to the table. We chose a toy for each Happy Meal. When it arrived we found two books included instead of toys, so we asked the staff who promptly told us that they donât have any toys left. My child cried at the table, not a good look for McDonalds! Sheâs also not a toddler or a brat, she was just a kid looking forward to her Happy Meal toy. I complained to the Manager who told me that because I ordered via the app there was nothing she could do, as they have nothing to do with it. I believe they call that shirking responsibility! Iâm not an idiot, I know how demand planning tools and ordering processes in big franchised companies work.    Read moreDon't bother with the black pole branch . They have drastically reduced sitting areas and allocated space for courier drivers and a staff rest area !!! They que to get our order well too long !!!! Y would a business take out seats n give it to couriers ! In the 39 minutes I waited only one courier sat down for 5 minutes ( yes I timed it ) and the staff were VERY strict about people not going in there. Also I appreciate that staff need a rest area But while I was waiting NO staff were in the rest area ( y not have specified breaks for them to use it ) . The dive thru not much better !!! I shall never use this branch again. Fast food , ha that's a joke. My average wait in the branch is 21 minutes ( yes I have timed and calculated ). When I was in the states it was fast food and the maximum wait I had was 6 minutes. The branch at wychbold is a better place. If I decide to use a MacDonald restaurant I truly believe it will be quicker to drive to whychbold to get my order and drive back.    Read moreAfter fighting through the terrible stench of sewage to get to the counter service took a while, it always seems to take twice as long to put nothing on a burger than to add salad.?? Despite the wait on getting home half the order was missing. .took it back and requested a fresh order including missing items..again returned home and this time yet again missed items amd this time items not ordered! Third visit finally got the correct order but after over an hour of backwards and forwards lost appetite and most of the food was then cold! Drinks all flat and kids gone to bed..almost £30 of mediocre food only fit for the bin! The 1 star is purely because you can't review with no stars and maybe for the polite staff member who had the job of continuous dealing with unhappy customer which would have been totally avoided if they got it right in the first place! Read and check your orders! And stop all the Rev heads blocking up the parking spaces right...
