Ruby — Restaurant in Worcester

The food was top notch came out very quick and nice and hot.we had the buffet 9 of us nice selection of starters to share .also great choice of mains .as long as you eat you can order more they adopt a policy regarding waste which is very good as no-one likes waste the staff were very polite and professional in there jobs .a nice place to experience different dishes a bit expensive if you don't eat much .or have children over 12 as they don't eat much or if they are fussy.all in all a great experience. Why I marked down one star is .its difficult to get up the stairs if you have walking or disability issues a struggle getting into the restaurant but once in no problem .perhaps they could consider some form of ramp.all in all top food and enjoyed.this is one of the issues which would make me think of returning.which...

We were told as a starter u can order upto four items as there was 2 of us. We was also told if u eat it all u can order it again. Well the starts came out we were gob smacked the size of them was nothing more than nibbles. We ordered more and only half of what we ordered came out. But all the starters never came out togethef which was weird. The main we could order any 3 dishes ....

Portion size is small but u can re order again . But choice very limited seems too be the same stuff either lamb or chicken etc.

As a whole would i go back no . Was food good. Was ok. And thats the issue it was just ok. If u want a ok meal with limited choice with ok service go ahead but i had 2 drinks and my mrs had 1 £63 Not i feel value for money...... if they ask u for a coffee they charge u aswell . Used too be a...

Not so great for take away...

Have eaten at Ruby on a few occasions and usually very good. However, ordered a takeaway and the food was not great at all. The Crispy chicken in Thai sauce was just dry pieces of chicken and a pot of sweet and sour on the side. The duck pancakes were all pancakes and no duck! And the cucumber was almost liquid... not good!

The man who served me at collection was not exactly polite and welcoming, which is fine, if you are serving great food. Not so much if you are sending out small portions of not so great food.

Prawn crackers (which I though used to be complimentary when spending over £50) were not included and when requested paid £2 for a very modest bag.

I certainly would not rush back to...
