We have never eaten in, only got take aways. I can safely say they create some of the best Sushi and Sashimi I have ever eaten! (anywhere in the world - I've never been to Japan but have been to other parts of the far east and elsewhere). We live a bit out in the sticks, so we save driving to Worthing for a take away as an extra special treat, and get all excited about their food for ages beforehand. it's just SO delicious! Their fish is so fresh and I love how they add different garnishes to their Dom bowls every time.. and so many at once. And the way they so carefully prepare all.. it's mind blowing. I had never tried (or heard of, embarrassingly) Shiso leaves until they were in front of me and so I looked them up and was so thrilled to discover all. (and they were lush!).. and, as I say, every time the garnish is different and so so varied and numerous. This evening they garnished with pickled mushrooms and avocado and parsley and much more... every time it is a surprise and so inspiring. I can't comment on service because I've never eaten in, but it can sometimes be hard to get through on the phone - I think that's just because everyone is busy though! I really love the food Issa create. Also they add miso soups to their take away orders which never ceases to amaze me! They are delicious and very much appreciated....
Read moreI recently dined at Isa Sushi and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a modern yet comfortable decor that sets the perfect mood for a delightful meal.
The sushi here is absolutely top-notch. Each piece was a masterpiece, crafted with the freshest ingredients and a meticulous attention to detail. The variety on the menu is impressive, catering to both traditional sushi lovers and those looking for innovative, unique rolls.
One standout was the Dragon Roll, which perfectly balanced flavours and textures. The fish was incredibly fresh, practically melting in your mouth, and the accompanying sauces complemented it beautifully without overpowering the natural taste.
The service was impeccable as well. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was flawless.
Additionally, the presentation of each dish was stunning, showcasing the chef's artistry and passion for their craft.
Overall, Isa Sushi is a must-visit for sushi enthusiasts. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just in the mood for some high-quality sushi, this restaurant will exceed your expectations. I can't wait to return and explore more of their...
Read moreNew visit (18/04/22): This was a takeaway order via JustEat. Order was scheduled to arrive between 19:45 and 20:00 (placed order at 18:30) however it arrives shortly after 7, happy days!
I ordered some hosomaki, sashimi and nigiri and everything was excellent. The salmon sashimi was particularly excellent, just so delicious.
If you can't make it into town, don't worry about ordering a takeaway, quality is still fantastic. Each item arrives in its own container with soy sauce, the usual fake wasabi and pickled ginger.
Original review:
Lovely Japanese restaurant in central Worthing.
The staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is excellent. I had (with a friend) the salmon hokomaki, salmon sashimi and the chicken ramen; the sushi is prepared fresh and tastes wonderful, the ramen is filling and satisfying, like how a ramen dish should be.
That plus drinks (plus another bowl of ramen) came to around £40, note, if they offer the prawn crackers, it's around £3 extra. Will definitely go back again at some point. We visited at around 1pm on a Sunday and it was fairly quiet. The restaurant wasn't originally on Google maps so visibility of the restaurant wasn't...
