Visited for the first time for lunch with a friend. I wouldn’t usually choose to eat Greek food however we thought we would check it out being a new local business and knowing of their early misfortune of vandalism. We popped in and we’re greeted, we said we just wanted to look at the menu first before deciding if we wanted to stay, we were given a takeaway menu, the waitress then proceeded to ask us twice if we wanted to sit down. We decided to stay, we weren’t given menus, but despite us holding the one takeout menu we were then asked multiple times in the space of 5 minutes if we were ready to order. We then ordered, my friend asked for a tap water and I a coke. When the drinks came they bought a bottle of water and my friend had to correct them that she had asked for tap, not bottle water. For food my friend ordered a 5 piece feta filo pastry starter and a main and I asked for the beef and lamb pitta wrap for main (£6.90) (we both also pointed on the menu to the items we wanted). The starter that was bought to our table was incorrect, it was just a slab of feta, when we tried to explain to the waiter that this wasn’t what had been ordered, he went back to the kitchen and then returned to our table but he wasn’t able to explain why the wrong one had been brought to us, but also said we couldn’t have the starter we ordered, but couldn’t say why they couldn’t provide the correct starter? The mains then came, mine was pita, salad, beef and lamb kebab and chips, the food was ok, however the kebabs were slightly burnt and the chips underneath were soggy, but I thought it was ok for the price… We then came to pay and I saw my main was charged at £12.90, I said this wasn’t correct as I had ordered the beef and lamb pitta wrap that was £6.90. I was then told that not what I had, that I had been given the been and lamb plate which was £12.90, I again explained that’s not what I ordered, and said that when I ordered I had even pointed to what I wanted on the menu. I was made to feel as though this was my error, I explained that this was my first time here and I didn’t know the menu or dishes or what to expect so I didn’t know that I hadn’t been given what I ordered. (In hindsight it did seem like a large portion for the price and it wasn’t presented as I expect a wrap normally would be but this didn’t occour to me at the time, I was just hungry!) Eventually the staff begrudgingly agreed to charge me £6.90 for my main but I was made to feel awful and terribly unwelcome. Such a shame! Hopefully it’s just new restaurant teething problems!

Came here on a whim really wanting to try the gyros... First impressions were really good when you walk through the door, music playing, really nicely presented and decorated, welcomed and shown a table straight away, plenty of people enjoying really good looking food! We wouldn't wait to get started... However, once sat at a table a given a menu it just kinda dropped a bit.... We found the menu to be quite confusing... multiple gyro options but no real description of what was what... plate options, non plate options... what was the difference? A little confused we decided on what we wanted. So, time to order... we waited... and waited for someone to come and take our order but no one came. Eventually my wife had waited long enough a went and ordered at the counter. We both went for plate options and expected our gyros to come out all nicely made up on plate... what came out was a massive plate of food! I must say, this is where it all went right back up! It looked amazing!! Although, the shear size of it was daunting! The plates were absolutely piled high with food which looked and smelt fantastic! Now, this is where we found out the difference between the plate and non plate options.... the plate option is a deconstructed gyro... not what we expected but we were not disappointed, neither was our dog when we took him the leftovers! One slight negative comment... lack of sauce! With such an amount of meat, with no sauce offered it was quite dry so we had to pay extra for sauce and I did feel that the cost v amount of sauce received was not great!! Anyway, whilst eating our way through the mountain of food, another set of customers were seated next to us... and given full table service... leaving us to wonder why we were left waiting to the point of having to go up to the counter?? On the whole, the meal was great, the service was lacking in attentiveness... It wouldn't stop me from returning but there are many other options available that I might try first.

Wow, I had a lovely lunch here earlier today (5th May 2025) with my family, which is actually just next door to where I work. It's also the first time we've ever been in here, and we will certainly be back for more, as the food was very tasty and such great value too!! 👌👌 Would absolutely recommend this Greek restaurant, especially if you're looking for a quick bite to eat or an evening meal. They also do takeaways, so it's definitely worth checking out for sure!!! 😎👍 The customer service was also excellent. I can't wait to pop back in there sometime to try some of the other great things from their menu!! 🤔😃 This time, I ordered the mixed pitta wrap which included chicken and pork, tomato, onion, lettuce, tzatziki and chips (along with a hot chocolate!!)... and it was all delicious!!! Yum yum!!!! 🍴😋🙌🙌

Arrived and greeted by a female staff member, she told us to sit anywhere we’d like so we sat in the corner by the window, we noticed menus right next to our table in the menu holder attached to the wall, so we grabbed 4 of them. We then instantly noticed we were being glared at by the female member of staff from the till area and she started walked over to us and removed all the menus out of the holder and took them to the till area, came back with a post it note that said staff only, and stuck it to the menu holder and brought the menus back, all whilst we were still sat there. I questioned the need to do this whilst we were sat there as all we did was grab a menu which we normally do at this restaurant and haven’t had backlash from it, she said that’s my job not yours they are staffs, so I questioned the need to be frustrated over such a small matter seen as the paying customers need to read the menus to order food and we saved her a job by getting them ourselves so wasn’t sure where the hostility was coming from. She then continued to glare at our table the entire time we were there making us feel incredibly uncomfortable. A second female staff member started about 5pm and we could see the previous female staff member telling the other one about what we had done, this is extremely unprofessional and actually made us as a group confused by what we had actually done. Ive never had a problem with this restaurant the food is amazing and always a top pick of mine but this server in particular needs to improve on her customer service to entice...
