Over 40 mins late for delivery. When I called to find out where the food was I was told the driver forgot drinks and went back for them. OK fair enough, mistakes happen however the attitude of the manager was that I should accept shoddy pizzas which had been sat in the van for over an hour at no discount or compensation. Apparently it's OK to deliver terrible service and not even compensate for it. The attitude of the manager was extrememly rude and unhelpful but he apparently became offended when he perceived I was being rude back. In actual fact I was merely frustrated by the lack of care given by the manager. He even advised that I should have shopped at rival's domino's and that he does the job because no one else wants to. He even went as far to make derogatory comments about the delivery driver claiming when I told him that the delivery driver himself wouldnt eat the pizzas that he was 'surprised he says that as he doesn't speak very good English'. When I called him on his attitude and racist comment I was the one who was rude for offending him by suggesting he was making derogatory comments. The call ended up being terminated by the manager as he was clearly too stressed by the demands of his job.
The food was very mediocre however due to the length of wait we had no choice but to accept it as we had very hungry children waiting. Thankfully they didn't notice but the adults were not impressed with very cold and congealed pizzas. I've bern a customer of pizza hut for many years but unfortunately I will not be using them again. The local independent will now benefit...
Read moreFirstly, the photos of the garlic and wedges are what we opened when we arrived home from collecting our order (after already having receiving the wrong delivery from littlehampton branch this evening) just to note the garlic bread was cold and not cooked through properly.
We asked for double mushroom on one of our large pizzas... as you can guess, there wasn't double mushroom and actually less than x1 mushroom.
They also forgot to give us our bottle of pepsi that was included in our meal deal!
I called the store to complain straight away at 20:21 this evening and spoke to Ash who advised he was the manager. Not a very good one (customer service was poor and wasn't willing to resolve, no matter how much he explained he "understood")as he explained they were to busy to deal with my complaint and didn't want to resolve or correct the issue again, as they were too busy (no excuse)
Ash wasn't able to help with providing a number or email for their complaints department or head office which as manager he should know!
I am absolutely disgusted how we have been treated by pizza hut this evening that we will not ordering...

Placed an order online at 16.40hrs, got an E-mail stating that the Pizza's would be delivered by 17.45hrs at the latest. 18.00hrs and no signs of delivery, I called the branch. As I was waiting for the phone to be answered the doorbell rang and it was a teenager wearing a Pizza Hut Shirt. Opened the door and asked why the delivery was late and got told "It's here now, you want it or not" and had the receipt shoved in my hand. Checked the delivery and some items where missing. Told the driver about the missing items and after much back and forth I was told I'd need to pay for the lot and he'd sort it out when he got back to the shop. I refused and asked that he just deduct the missing items from the bill which he refused to do. As we'd reached a stale mate as I had no intention of paying for something I hadnt received, I told him to take the Pizza's and go. So this evening we've wasted time waiting for food that arrived late and then had items missing and ultimately ended up with nothing. Top job Goring Rd, Pizza Hut. I won't be ordering anything from you...
