Bay Leaf Cafe — Restaurant in Worthing

I've been in a few times for takeaway coffee and cake, it's always busy and the staff are always friendly. And the cake is lush!

Today I had more time on my hands, so ordered a bacon and egg sandwich, with my coffee. It was divine! The sandwich was made to order. The bacon was perfectly crisp, two eggs, one in each half and both yolks were deliciously runny!

Never been in here before,but my sister and I gave it a go. Seating outside and inside. Only one person serving when we went in so ordering lunch took a long time. My sister had beans on toast which she said was lovely but couldn't finish it as it was such a big portion, my vegetarian selection sandwich was much smaller,the salad was miniscule and disappointing. Been looking forward to tyring this lovely little independent coffee shop and supporting a local business. Went along with my good friend and my dog and was ordered out of the shop as had the dog was with me. I felt fully humiliated with all the other patrons in the shop.
