Uncle Sams Hamburger Express Goring — Restaurant in Worthing

So, having not been to Uncle Sam's in years... they just happened to be in the right place, at the right time! I went with the double chilli burger meal, and it was great! Full of flavour and the right amount of chilli hot! Not so hot that it blew your head off, but hot enough to let you know you were having a chilli burger. The chips were hot, well cooked, with a good crunch on the outside, and soft and fluffy on the inside... a bit like an Armadillo! I opted for a chocolate milkshake with my meal... I would only describe it as... barely average. A coke was also ordered... or should I say, cola... I've certainly had better 'Panda Pop' cola! It was very weak tasting and watery! The service was polite... but it would've struggled to be anything other, given all that was said was the amount to pay... no pleasantries, smile, or even a thank you or goodbye! But given how good the burger was, I wouldn't let it put me off...

The burgers at Uncle Sam's are OK but nothing special and the service is acceptable at best. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to eat there; however, if you're in Durrington and fancy a quick burger there's really not a lot in the way of local competition.

The prices are probably slightly higher than you'd pay at a McDonald's or BK for similar meals and it's questionable if the food's up to the same standard, but as previously mentioned there aren't any major burger chains nearby . If you go in expecting an average meal you shouldn't be too...

I like these type of burgers 🍔 😋 much better than McDonalds or Burger King as cooked freshly upon ordering. Plus they have much more healthy contents such as real onions 🌰, lettuce & Tomatoes 🍅. Which are absent from those chains above. Thick milk shakes not the thin ones. Staff are smiling 😃 and happy 😊 I recommend Uncle Sam's burgers 🍔 if you prefer quality over kept hot quantity.
