NEW REVIEW: Right, so yesterday England was supposed to play in the EURO 2024, and I thought I'd pop down to KFC to grab some chicken to munch on during the match. I chose KFC because, usually, and I repeat, usually, the food is decent. The chicken is tasty, and although the cleanliness of the place often leaves much to be desired, the food has been passable. But yesterday, June 16, 2024, the food was absolutely dreadful. I opted for a bucket, expecting some good chicken, well-cooked but not burnt. What I got were pieces that were nearly black. The coating, which KFC is famous for, was so tough I would have needed a hammer to break it. Most of it went straight to the bin. The chicken inside that coating was dark brown, bordering on black. Now, I understand sometimes things can be slightly overcooked, but burning the coating, which is KFC's signature, is unforgivable. If you see chicken like that, it should be binned immediately. Next, the quality of the meat. The wing was passable, but in my bucket, I found something that was difficult to classify as food—a piece of chicken spine with ribs, coated and cooked. I don't know what to call it because it’s neither a wing nor a leg. If the staff at KFC in Evesham, UK, don't know that chicken ribs aren't meant to be eaten, then I feel sorry for them. There's no meat there, and it should be considered waste. You could make broth with it, but that's about it. No one eats chicken ribs. If it were beef ribs or pork ribs, that would be different, but chicken ribs? Absolutely not. As for the drumstick, the meat was okay, but the coating on all the pieces was hard and charred. It was impossible to chew, and I couldn't even tell what it was. That’s the first part. The second part, I also had four portions of chips. KFC advertises them as twice-baked, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. They might have been tender inside, but there was zero crispiness. None. On the outside, they were soggy. They were baked, but very soft and wet. I don't know how long they had been sitting there or if the staff even know how to make proper chips. Maybe they’re using a microwave to thaw them. I have no idea. In any case, as much as I love KFC, the food yesterday before England's match in the 2024 EURO was inedible. On a scale from 1 to 5, it gets a 0.5—barely. And that's for the meat inside the coating, because even the chicken wings were as dry as a desert. So, it was one of the worst KFC experiences of my life. They should seriously consider replacing the staff with people who know what they're doing. Maybe KFC's head office should think about pulling the license from this franchise because it has nothing to do with the real KFC. It's the worst KFC food I've had in my 50 years. I've eaten KFC in many countries, in many places, and never has it been this bad. My suggestion? Shut down the branch, retrain the staff, or replace them with trained ones. Something is seriously wrong at the Evesham branch. OLD: Unfortunately, I'm sorry. The most dirty KFC restaurant I've ever been to. It should be closed as soon as possible for the safety of the customers. I like KFC chicken, unfortunately in this restaurant, it doesn't taste as good as it does all over the world. These pictures are only a review, not all the dirt that was there. During the time of ordering and eating, about 45 minutes no one has ever washed any table or swept the floor. Not once for 45 minutes. At McDonald's, someone is constantly wiping tables or sweeping the floor. Dirt is one thing. The second thing is food. Eating breadcrumbs would almost break a tooth. I have never eaten such a hard coating in my life. I understand that crunchy is better, but don't exaggerate. If you bake breadcrumbs to be as hard as stone, they are no longer tasty. I hope that it will improve, if not then it's better to close this restaurant.

KFC in Evesham is a fantastic spot for a quick, satisfying meal. The service is impressive, with friendly and efficient staff who make every visit enjoyable. It’s clear that the team genuinely cares about customer satisfaction, and they’re always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything’s just right. The quality of the food is excellent, consistently fresh and well-prepared. You can tell that they take pride in serving meals that taste great every time, from the crispy fried chicken to the hot, tasty sides. The flavors are exactly what you expect from KFC—a reliable, comforting experience that hits the spot. The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Whether you’re dining in or taking food to go, KFC in Evesham ensures a smooth experience from start to finish. It’s truly the best place in town for a quick bite, combining quality food, a friendly team, and efficient service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable, enjoyable meal in Evesham.

For opening week i guess it should have been expected but i walked in, had to wait 30 minutes in a queue to even have my order taken. The touch screen ordering service was turned off! Then waited 20 minutes to get my one order and it was missing items. Food was ready for collection but drinks were not, its a total shambles!. Took a seat and the area around me was filthy. This is no where near good enough. I hope the situation improves as the novelty wears off, if it doesn't i couldn't recommend this place. I will upgrade my review once these fundamental issues are put right. You get one more chance kfc!

Poor service, Low cleanliness, poor quality of food and WRONG order repeatedly given with no apologies. We waited to visit until a few weeks after the initial "newness" buzz had died down to give the place a fighting chance, but we were overwhelmingly disappointed. Firstly, the drive through was closed (broken). We decided to go in and found that all but one of the self service machines were broken. We queued to have our order taken at the till, where my husband was informed that they were out of hot sauce (despite there being a full box clearly visible on the counter behind the till, waiting to be put out). My question about the rice box was met with a blank look. We had a simple order, just 2 meals, no alterations or special requests, just 2 plain standard meals. After we had placed the order, my husband went to wait for the food and I went to get a table. All the free tables were covered in food and containers, so I cleared 3 tables myself (I was feeling helpful), as the staff didn't appear to be interested. As I waited, I was overwhelmed by a strong sewer/drain smell, which as time went on started to really turn my stomach. After 30 minutes, I went back to the order area to see what was going on and spoke with my husband, who confirmed that he was still waiting. By this point I was feeling a bit overwhelmed by the heat in the restaurant (not helped by how crowded the waiting area was with so many people waiting extended periods for their food), so I decided to go outside to the outdoor seating area to get some air. BIG MISTAKE! The smell of sewers was so overwhelming outside of the restaurant I started to feel properly nauseous, so messaged my husband to ask him to cancel the order. This was 50 minutes after we had initially placed the order! As there is zero phone signal in this area, he didn't get the message, and appeared 10 minutes later with the food. The smell was so overwhelming for us both that we decided to eat the food at home (It seems that the smell was specifically around KFC as there was no smell in the Valley shopping centre or the petrol station). When I checked the food before leaving, both of our orders were incorrect. My husband had been given 3 pieces, not 4, no sauce and only half of the sides. I had been given a plain salad, not a rice box and no corn. The chicken was barely warm and the coating was soggy and falling off the meat. By this point I was so upset my husband drove me home, before returning to get a refund. When he arrived back, there had been a change of staff, but there was still a huge queue of people waiting. He was told that there was hot sauce, but as there were so many people waiting for food and we had already waited, he was given a partial refund for the missing items. I wouldn't say that it was a good experience at all. I understand that it is a new store, but it seems like so many pieces of equipment are broken already, the majority of staff seemed disinterested in cleaning the dining area and didn't have any knowledge of the menu. This was on a weekday after the schools had gone back, so it should have been a quiet...

They're lucky to get the one star. Read all the reviews...Good and bad...Thought I would give it a try on my way home after a long day. The drive through was available, but the queue was a long way from the ordering point. So, I decided to go inside and place my order. Ordering was easy, and I stood in the waiting area for my order to be called. I watched a member of staff make my coffee and a Krushems that I ordered, which were then left to stand for over 20 minutes before my order eventually arrived. I requested a new coffee and I got that. I picked my order up and drove home; however, when I got home and opened the bag, the contents of the bag were nothing that I ordered, so it was obvious that I had gotten someone else's order. It would take too long to go back to the KFC, so I decided to eat it; however, everything was lukewarm, the chicken smelt like urine, the gravy was cold, the chips were soggy, and the Krushems looked like something off I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here (drink). Total lack of freshness. I returned everything to the bag, and was left feeling very dissatisfied with the quality of the products and the service. I rang to speak to a member of staff. He was polite and apologised, and did say that my next visit I would get my meal free for two; however, this experience has put me off KFC, so I will be returning to the KFC and requesting a full refund. The quality and the presentation needs to be addressed, and I need to see more stars on the reviews before I visit this KFC again. The manager needs to be updated regarding this and all the negative reviews, as it needs...
