The Apple Barn Restaurant — Restaurant in Wychavon

Seated & ordered quickly. Small portions for price tag. Items stated on menu were missing from dishes delivered. The sandwich we ordered arrived on different bread to what was ordered, and items were included which we specifically asked not to be included. Our requests were included on the ticket so cannot fault the waitress; however the kitchen staff clearly choose fast service over quality service and therefore do not read tickets correctly.

We also weren't informed on how to order any of the 'cold' items and weren't given a menu for these - so be sure to ask if you like the look of something as you are seated!! [Partner was disappointed to not have the option to try the Greek salad].

Staff were lovely and explained how to order. No real interaction with staff after that. Nice area to sit outside with the dog.

Sadly the food was vastly overpriced for what it is. £9 for a kids meal which was a tiny pizza and a few chips. My daughter wanted a bit of cheese on her chips which they were going to charge 2.25 extra for. Questioned it and server agreed just to add it as a note. Said it would only be a tiny bit though. It was.

I had ham egg and chips. Ham was okay, a little greasy. Had 6 chips and a pile of pea shoots and purple cabbage with two fried eggs. £15 and I was still hungry afterwards so not really a meal.

Visited The Valley this afternoon. Went to the Apple Barn restaurant for Coffee and a snack. The beef sandwich at £5.95 was literally curled almost in half and the lone tuna baguette looked overlooked for some considerable time. They had some quiche/frittata thing which looked completely dead as did the salad garnish and some sort of dressing which had a crust on it.
