The Mint House - Evesham — Restaurant in Wychavon

I recently visited The Mint House and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with just the right balance of comfort and elegance. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and service was prompt throughout the evening.

The menu offered a good variety, and the dishes were well-prepared and nicely presented. My starter was flavourful and fresh, while the main course was cooked to perfection. Portions were generous, yet not overwhelming.

If I had to make one small remark, I would say the dessert could have been a touch more indulgent, but overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We found the Mint House on Google maps on a short stay in Evesham and very glad we did. It's small and on the Wednesday night we were there, very quiet (more take away orders than dine-in customers). There were several dishes on the menu we'd never seen before and everything we ordered (including one of these) was excellent. Even the poppadom relishes were an improvement on the standard four. Portion sizes were generous and prices not expensive. The service was friendly, prompt but not pushy. If we're in the area again we'd be very happy...

My experience with The Mint House has started with a takeaway and I cannot wait to visit for the sit down options. The food arrived fresh and piping hot and I was greeted at my door by a very friendly chap who gave me a menu and explained a few things about the business.

The portion sizes are generous and I would advise anyone getting a takeaway to go direct as the prices are much better. The food was delicious and great value for money.
