Really is a great place. I've dined-in 2 times now and gotten take-away twice. Interesting variety of menu items and the food has always been delicious. Really warm service that's polite and not overbearing or awkward. Competitive prices, yet the quality of the food and service is genuinely banging.
Quite a few of the Indian restaurants I've eaten at like to microwave their curries to death. Kills all the flavour out of the food and it comes out tasting like creamy water. Riley's, down the road from Karma, has good service and a nice looking restaurant, but they served me this kind of tasteless curry twice before that I'm guessing had been microwaved. Bengal Dreams' tastes good but it's not anything special + the restaurant is a bit meh to dine in. There's supposed to be a decent Indian restaurant in Pershore but it's hella expensive. The owner of this place has flare with his food and it shows. He seems to care about standing out with the quality of his food. There's actual style to it. He told me when I ate there that he's got a few other Karma restaurants around the UK and this is his latest. Only issue I've had with Karma is that he isn't using individual bottles for the soft drinks, which kind of sucks because it's not as fizzy and fresh as it could be. He has beer on tap though - full alcohol license.
In summery it's the curry that I, you and your dad know and love, and it's done the right way, but with a mentionable unique flare that's really stuck with me. If you try it, you'll know what I'm on about. It's a...
Read moreWhat a wonderful restaurant! We were intrigued with a new restaurant with Nepalese and North Indian food. Tried today and bang! Absolutely fantastic! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Clean, nice ambiance. Good selection of wines.beers and some other alcohols. Great selection of vegetarian and meat dishes. We ordered for an appetiser poppadomus with 4 different dips. Then we ordered lamb chops- beautiful seasoned, chicken Moma- very delicate dumplings with delicious spicy filling, chicken noodles- nicely balanced spicy flavours and Gurkha special- Clay pot chicken with garlic naan bread. All absolutely fantastic. We are really happy that so good restaurant is open in Evesham. It elevates a bit not the nicest Port Street. This is the place definitely worth to go and experience slightly different flavours than typical Indian restaurant....
Read moreThe food was amazing and customer service was top class. Customer parking at the back of the restaurant was super convenient. We had lamb biryani, king prawn tandoori and madras with naan bread. Upon seating, we were offered chutneys and poppadoms to die for. The lamb was meltingly soft, prawns were fresh and cooked to perfection. The flavours from the spice and ingredients were very well balanced. The food was presented beautifully and was clearly prepared by a team who takes pride in their work. The price was well worth it and absolute value for money. The venue and atmosphere were equally impressive with some eccentric decor details. Evesham was not much of a tourist destination this trip given the weather, but is now a foodie destination for us. In short, this...
