Bombay Blues — Restaurant in Wyre Forest

I've never been one to have an issue with a restaurant! But this has to be said! I was disgusted by the service tonight! We ordered at 6:30pm but didn't recieve our food until 9:45pm. I understand that covid has impacted so many businesses but this is dreadful! We called the restaurant 63 times exactly! And they answered once! Then the restaurants staff who delivered the food was rude and didn't stick to covid guide lines which is unbelievable! As for the food! Most of it was okay! But some was cold and soggy! Some chicken didn't even look cooked! I will never be ordering from this place again! I have been ordering from Bombay Blues for years but never again after lastnight. I placed my order on Just eat at 5.49 and the restaurant accepted and confirmed my order and advised it would be delivered at 6.45. At 7.15 I called the restaurant to see if it was on it’s way. Was told my order was out for delivery and would be with me in around 5 minutes. Another half hour later I called again and was told they had not received my order - even though they had confirmed it and said it was on it’s way the first time I called. Pretty quiet when my partner and I went for a meal (very useful for us with anxiety history) the staff were very polite and welcoming. Food was amazing and served in brilliant time, although when they felt it was taking longer, they came and apologised and explain the delay....we thought the food service time was brilliant though. Had a lovely chat with one member of staff and discussed the possibility of a family visit with having 4 very young children they were more than happy to help with making arrangements to suit our needs....
