Don't waste your time with DQ on Mockingbird -- Go to DQ on Highway 351! I arrived at 9:50 and I was behind a long line of cars when I finally got to the speaker to order at 10:02. I had to ask if anyone was there and finally someone named Steph answered. I asked if I could order and she told me they were now closed. I informed her that I was in line at 9:50 and that it would be nice if I could order since I had waited for 12 minutes. She rudely asked what I wanted and I said "all I want is a cherry limeade". She acted as if it were too hard to make a cherry limeade 2 minutes after 10 and then told me that their district manager won't let them make them anymore. I asked her if that was true then why they were still listed on the menu board... and she gave me some bogus answer just so I would drive off. I asked for her manager's name and number and she refused to give it to me. I drove off and called DQ 351 to ask for their district manager's number and told them what had happened to me. DQ 351 told me to come by and they would give me a cherry limeade and the district manager's number. I called Dairy Queen on Mockingbird to let them know that DQ 351 can in fact give me their district managers number, they can also make a cherry limeade, and they have superior customer service skills. I will not be returning to DQ on Mockingbird and unless you like being disappointed with customer service, I suggest that you do the same. DQ 351 is the...
Read moreSo it's been some time since I've come here in awhile but I gave it a chance this location used to be the best location where me and my family came too. Everything was always fresh hence the wait time which I never minded. But once again a problem. Cheese left off of the number 3. They fixed it thank you guys for that. Heard the price from the order window thought that's a little steep only to realize I was never charged for combos but separately charged everything perfectly fine. Money is only a substitute for the things we want in life. Thought I should say🙄. Hopefully you guys start running a business instead of stuck in the ways of hustling the customers who are the reason you have your jobs. Yes I believe in team first customer first. But question where was your customer service as far as what I specifically asked for?? But it could've just been me the manager recognized me and rolled her eyes. Either way wish you guys the best and hope you'll figure it out before it's too late. Seen too many good places go down the drain. I'm sure it's not this way for every...
Read moreI recently visited the Dairy Queen in Abilene, TX, and had a very disappointing experience, particularly with the manager, Betty. We had a very long wait time, which was frustrating in itself. To make matters worse, I was charged for bacon on my order, but when we got home, we realized there was no bacon on one of the sandwiches.
When I called to address the issue, Betty only offered for me to return the food so they could add the bacon. This was not a feasible solution as we were already home, and the kids were tired. Additionally, one of the orders missing bacon was for a friend, and I had already dropped off his food. Betty showed no compassion or understanding of the situation and even argued that she did put the bacon on, which was clearly not the case.
I wasn't asking for a refund; I simply wanted a remake of the one sandwich that was missing bacon. Given that my total was $37, I expected better customer service. Betty's lack of empathy and unwillingness to resolve the issue has ensured that I will never return to this...
