Western Edge — Restaurant in Abilene

This is a cool little local beer joint that probably has Regulars for the majority of their customers it seemed a little clannish. But I get that we were new on the scene and kinda came in with a fairly large group that were a little loud and rowdy it was a birthday celebration for a life long friend that we thought was a regular there but it wasn't a very warm welcome. The bartender never came out to gather empties or check on us to see if we needed drinks or anything she stayed planted behind the bar and had the personality of a fence post. But the actual building and location was cool and it was karaoke night the DJ was friendly and sweet and helpful. I'd go back if I wanted a cool little down home...
