Mia Regazza — Restaurant in Abington

We love, love, love, Mia Regazza!!!! Their signature dish appropriately named, "Mia Regazza" is by far the best meal I have had in a very long time!!! The seafood medley (scallops, shrimp and mussles) nestled in a whole lobster caressed in a garlic lemon wine sauce is nothing short of a sensual gastronomical experience. The Seafood platter is just as pleasing and we always add some fried lobster to it. If you want a Fantastic meal, a fabulous drink and an amazing server (nestled between us) a "place where everyone knows your name", Then head on over to Mia Regazza. You won't be disappointed.

Update, 08/2019... Mia Regazza has changed. We were so very dissappointed with our last visit that we won't be returning. Sadly sometimes, whether it's growth or merely a change in staff,( ie Chef etc.) The quality can suffer. I believe that when something is not quite right, you do the establishment a disservice not to inform them. Like any relationship, communication is the key to success. The hostesses, servers are stellar and truly go out of their way to make you feel at home (many being long time employees), that was one of the reasons we frequented Mia. I also understand that pricing must rise and we're so ok with that, however, when you raise the price, the standard to which we have all become accustomed, should at least remain the same if not even become better. This wasn't our experience. I know this is a family owned business and have always truly taken pride in how they represented. So it's with a heavy heart that we're saying farewell!!!

Update So, 2nd chances are, in some cases warranted! Mia has redeemed herself🙏🏼 I LOVE Her Soooooooo much, like a moth to a flame, I couldn't stay away. The entire Summer, I've visited 7 times and each time its been simply delicious. The New offering that keeps calling my name, The Fried Clam Chowder💯. OMG, Mmmmmm,Mmmmmm...

Had just been there earlier this year, got my usual, things were great. This visit was the worst restaurant experience I've had in my life. Ordered drinks and appetizer. Waitress brought out drinks, got a Coke(Des. Driver always), she took orders. Ordered my usual, worded it as on menu, the broiled scallops, so I would not get pan seared scallops. This would be the last time our waitress came to our table until she brought bill. She didn't come to check how things were, didn't bring refills, other staff brought the app.,food and water. The calamari app.(my fav.) was horrible, small, hard and chewy. They put a bunch of lettuce on bottom of plate to make it look like you were getting a lot of calamari. Then food came out, guess who got broiled scrod instead of scallops. 10 min. later they bring out veg and potatoes from wrong order for me to munch on(cold). Everyone is done eating then they bring out scallops. Instead of piled high(as usual) and like other bro. scall. ordered at our table, they went on the cheap. I immediately returned my entire order uneaten to server and asked for manager. I let manager know about waitress, food, app. and service. The manager offered me a small bowl of clam chowder. I was hungry, so I said yes, it took over 10 minutes to get, then I realized maybe she may have spit in it, left it uneaten. Her compensation to us for all the bad service ( she acted as if she did a favor for us) was to take my uneaten broiled scallops off the order. WOW thanks for nothing!!! I mean it(literally), I got no meal or service = NOTHING. I guess I won't be buying anyone gift cards to Mia...

Mia Ragazza what happened to you. I was just robbed today in your restaurant. Today is my wife’s birthday, my son treated her to Mia Ragazza takeout. We ordered three entrees. Prime Rib, Mia medley, Spareribs, and we asked for all of the entrees to come with mashed potatoes and asparagus, we understood there would be an up charge. All for the fantastic price of $165.00. Where should I start. The ribs were so horrible and dried out, they tasted like they were cooked last Sunday, the Chef must know when to throw out bad food, you are going to get someone sick you freaking idiot. The seafood medley was exactly the same as the ribs, horrible. I called the restaurant and the woman who answered the phone, couldn’t careless about my complaint and the mistakes made to our order. This ignorant woman had the nerve to say to me that sometimes the hostess and the kitchen get orders wrong. WHAT!! why should the customer have to suffer for your ineptness. She offered me to come in and get the asparagus and mashed potatoes, no thank you, I would rather you just to get my order correct, I live 45 minutes from Mia Ragazza. She made it seem like it was my fault. At $165.00 this is what she says to a customer. Somebody needs to straighten the hostess and the kitchen out. The manager need to be on top of things in the restaurant, especially for the price people pay for their food. I really feel like I was robbed in Abington...
