The Clubhouse at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa — Restaurant in Acme Township

The main reason we chose this place for dinner, that it was close to most of the party, and they took reservations. No other place in TC was taking reservations on Sunday. We had a group of 16, so a sizable party. We were literally the only group on the inside, still took awhile for drinks to arrive and orders to take. Prices ok, but definitely on the higher side Grilled whitefish - excellent. Steak with vegetables - excellent. Caesar chicken pasta - really good. Could've had more sauce, pasta was a tad dry, but still very enjoyable. Kids had pizza, they inhaled it! LOL My MIL had either lobster cakes, or lobster rolls, something lobster 🦞. The presentation was weird .. like a hotdog bun cut in half with paste on the inside. The portion looked tiny, and she did say it was not enough for a meal. But said it tasted really good. So as far as food, there are no complaints.

The waiter did not check on us once, for refills or anything we need. We had to flag him down for more water. Tea for one of the ladies came in a dirty cup (shocked). But was replaced when we pointed it out. So for a non-busy restaurant service was not that great.

So, to sum up, we all enjoyed our food and company, unfortunately service was lacking. We might try the place again this summer, just because that steak...

Rundown resort. Low ceilings lumpy beds bad plumbing, carpet coming up in hallways tripped twice. Buffet $19 low low quality. Golf courses ok. Nothing to write home about. Kind of ho hum. The food is AWESOME although the menu is a bit limited but perfect for lunch! Servers are amazing, the view is wonderful, parking is easy, the place is clean.
