Warmly welcomed. Attentive and knowledgeable waiter, shot out to Paul because he did a great job. Ambiance is nice and comfortable and quiet enough to enjoy conversation. My opening course was their watercress salad. It was a nice light and fresh start to the meal. My main course was the Seared Maple Bay Chicken Breast. The chicken was cooked perfectly and very moist and tasty. The beet risotto was a little lacking, perhaps a little more beet to get more flavor and amp up the color a bit? And cut down on the amount, it was a very big glob. My dessert course was their Mocha Chip Eclair. This is where the wheels fell off for me. There were no mocha chips, there was actually zero filling in the entire pastry (same for both of us who ordered it). It was an empty eclair shell with dark chocolate on top which made it extremely dry and offputting. It looked good, just wasn't. If they have corrected that error, it would be worth trying. Good concept for a restaurant and if they tweak a few things i think it could be very good. I tasted the Red Deer Meatballs another at the table ordered and they were excellent. Same with the Braised Stag Gnudi - very good. And....the Bourbon Pecan Shortbread Bar was tremendous! My meal was only 3 star. But if you chose the correct combo you could get a 4 star meal here - and the fact that it was only $25?! Could be a real bargain if you choose wisely! 👍

I had the corned beef hash with gluten free toast. It was very, very good. I almost did not go here because the ratings were so bad, and the food I had elsewhere in the hotel was also not great. I didn't want to leave the hotel so I gave it a try. I was thrilled with breakfast. The corned beef hash was perfect, homemade, well seasoned. The gluten free toast was probably the best I've ever had. The servers were lovely. 10/10 breakfast I'd gladly eat it again.

I went for breakfast, point blank the food sucks, they this green stuff, found out to be eggs… the sausage had a funny taste.. crispy taters, the food was cold, the bacon was great, coffee warm, waitress beautiful and efficient, the butter soft, the jelly sweet and the view of the Bay is fantastic.. I have eaten here before(once), don’t think I’ll ever come back, and I live up the road. I suggest to all who seek breakfast.. go to Randy’s,

HORRIBLE experience. Staying at the hotel but will never eat here again. Wish I could give it zero stars. Dirty. Terrible service. Came for breakfast but told I could only order the $12.95 buffet. Was disappointed that I couldn’t order from their breakfast menu, as I didn’t want the full buffet. As I went to grab a muffin, a ton of flies flew up from the baked goods. It gave me the heebie-jeebies. Nothing looked appealing. They made everyone wait 30 mins for breakfast meat (sausages/bacon). The French toast and waffles were rubbery and cold. You had to track down a worker if you wanted toast or any beverages. The scrambled eggs tasted sour, like they had gone bad so I didn’t finish eating them (or any of the food actually except the toast). The meat was greasy and had a strange taste- couldn’t eat that either. Fruit had gone bad too and had to spit out the cantaloupe. While trying to eat, there was a fly/gnat that wouldn’t stop hovering on my food- when I looked up I saw the wall was covered in them!! It was so gross, I walked out at that point but still paid even though I was angry and wanted to hurl. I can’t believe a resort lets an on-site restaurant like this be managed this way! So disgusting, and made me worried that I potentially consumed something bad that could make me sick, and I’m 3 months pregnant. I hope ownership changes and fixes this restaurant before people start getting sick from the food. It should...

Went for Valentine's for the first time. Had reservations. We didn't wait. The restaurant was empty. When we sat down, I looked and the floor was dirty with debris. They offered a Valentine's three-course meal for $50 or they had a buffet for $22 which had salad, chicken alfredo and marinara and meatballs. The buffet also had garlic bread and then giant cookies for dessert. The regular menu was not available. We chose the buffet because my husband loves pasta. The salad that came with it only allowed you to have ranch dressing, which I do not like on my salad and I asked for a different dressing and all they had was Cesar or blue cheese. Gross to me. Quite disappointing. I use the lemon for my water for my salad. Both of the pasta choices lacked sauce and were very dry. The food was lukewarm but the chicken alfredo did taste good. The garlic bread was just regular dry bread with no butter available. And with the dry pasta it made it quite difficult to try to eat it. The chocolatey chocolate cookie I had was delicious. The server was nice. She wasn't busy and I thought it was odd that my iced tea was sitting for a few minutes before she checked back even though she walked right by. There were literally like three tables in the whole restaurant. I will not return to this place or...
