Lucky Tiger Buffet — Restaurant in Ada

Came in around 8:50 pm on Friday because their website said they didn't close until 9:30. They allowed us in and seated us, then after seeing there was nothing left that we intended on eating at the buffet, we asked if they could remake more teriyaki chicken to which the manager replied rudely and said "no, the kitchen is closed". Then we started getting stared at, they were standing behind us closely watching us eat and trying to make us feel intimidated and rushed so we would leave. They also are Hispanic, not Asian, and thought I couldn't understand them when they were behind us laughing and making fun of my spouse for asking for "mas pollo". The final straw was when the younger heavy set hostess came and asked us if we were planning on having dessert. I replied and asked if they were trying to close sooner than 9:30 and explained how we felt rushed and couldn't even get hot food made we were paying for, she stated they close at 9pm and after I told her the website said 9:30 she made all the excuses saying it must've been the old restaurant they had there and yadda yadda. She could have told us from the moment we entered that they closed in ten minutes and that what was left on the buffet was what we had to choose from, but she didn't. Me and my wife ate here for a date night, we haven’t been in years and thought it’d be a nice mix up to our usual. However as soon as we walked in the atmosphere was off, the gentleman at the front desk was wearing a Portrillos uniform which confused us at first but we brushed it off and sat down. The TVs were all in Spanish and some areas like the fruit and dessert section had a bunch of Tajin bottles lining the top of the buffet.

Me and my wife both felt that if we wanted to go into a more Spanish style restaurant we would’ve went to one, not at all what we remembered of this place.

Next the quality of the food was absolutely awful, we understand now why everyone that was there stuck to one section and side of the buffet where the main dishes are. Everything was either not Asian themed, looked poorly taken care of/made, unsafe/unsure if it was ok to eat, and the food we did eat has left us sick. The food was bad in some areas and stale as a brick, some looking to have been on at the buffet for a day or more. Our food we got wasn’t properly cooked, or thoroughly.

We will not be coming here ever again and highly recommend to others to stay clear to avoid getting sick as well, but also if you’re looking for actual Asian food or atmosphere to possibly...

I've been here 30 minutes so far. The server hasn't given me one refill after my third plate. He has walked by my table several times and nothing. Before I finished my first plate they brought me my check which I find to be very rude. After I finish my last plate I will edit or add to this review. So far, as far as I'm concerned they will not be getting a tip. Tips are earn by being attentive to your customers, not ignoring them and not asking if they would like a refill on your drink. My server is named Adrian if the owners want to look at this review. Ok I finished my last plate. Someone came and asked me if I wanted a refill after I was clearly done eating. There were all of maybe 6 customers here eating. It wasn't even busy at all. Idk why the service was so awful. I guess they were too busy looking at their phone, didn't care or so busy cleaning up the restraunt an hour before it was time to close so they didn't have to stay too much longer past closing time.
