I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant—my first and last visit, without a doubt. The only positive aspect of my encounter was the young lady who answered my call. Initially, I checked the website for the menu, chose what I wanted, and called to place an order. I was informed it would take 25 minutes. I left my house about five minutes later, knowing it takes me 13 minutes to get there.
Upon arrival, I discovered that the restaurant didn’t exist at the given address. I called again and was provided with a new address. Politely, I informed the hostess that the location on Google was incorrect (edit to add Googles address was correct my GPS was wrong, as it hadn't updated the new address). After much frustration, I called once more and learned that the restaurant was a small, unmarked white house tucked beneath numerous trees—completely unfindable without proper signage. It looked like someone's residence.
I squeezed into the tiny parking lot, and as I tried to park, a man yelled from across the lot asking if I was picking up and telling me I was not in a proper parking spot. Frankly, at that moment, I should have left and saved myself the hassle. However, my family was hungry, so I proceeded inside.
What I encountered was absolute chaos. The place was so overcrowded that navigating through was nearly impossible. The environment felt more like a bar than a restaurant. Once I finally reached the “pick up” area, my food was just sitting out on the bar, completely unheated. She showed me my order and, honestly, the condition of the food was unacceptable. For nearly $60, I received a burger, chicken tenders, and over-fried Oreos that were all cold. The fries were terrible as well.
The atmosphere was unfriendly and unwelcoming. If you don’t fit the “good ole boy” stereotype, you might want to think twice before visiting this place. It’s not worth your...
Read moreWater Tower Grill is a true gem in Adairsville, offering an exceptional dining experience that feels like a big-city restaurant with the warmth of a small-town vibe. Owned by the fantastic husband-and-wife team MJ and Candace, they’ve recently relocated to a charming downtown building, which perfectly complements the inviting and vibrant atmosphere.
The food is absolutely incredible—every single item on the menu is a standout, from appetizers to entrees and desserts. You can taste the passion and attention to detail in every bite. It’s amazing to have such a high-quality dining option right here in Adairsville!
One of the highlights of Water Tower Grill is their impressive full bar, especially for bourbon enthusiasts. They have a huge selection, and they also host monthly bourbon tasting events that are not to be missed. These events are an incredible opportunity to sample rare and expensive bourbons while enjoying a carefully crafted multi-course dinner. The pictures I’m sharing are from these outstanding evenings, which showcase just how special the experience is.
Holly, our favorite bartender, always adds to the fun with her warm personality and excellent service. We usually sit in the bar area for dinner because of its lively yet welcoming atmosphere.
The overall vibe is family-friendly, but it’s also a perfect spot for a night out with friends or a special date. Water Tower Grill truly offers something for everyone, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on one of Adairsville’s best dining...
Read moreMy wife & I visited on Friday, January 31, 2025, our first time to WTG. From the moment we entered, we found the place very busy, which was a very good sign as far as I'm concerned. Since they were so crowded, we chose to forgo the wait and proceeded to the bar area, to see if a seat was available. The bar itself was mostly full, save for the occasional single stool. We found a little tall table in the corner and as we started to sit, we were asked by a patron at the bar if we would like him to move over a seat, to allow us to sit at the bar. He was very polite, but we declined, opting to sit at the smaller table to ourselves. We observed the area and found it to be quite nice and the patrons were obviously regulars as they were having conversations with others across the bar. We were greeted by our waitress, Ariel, who was very amiable and polite. I chose to try the Rosemary Smoked Old Fashioned and she chose the Blueberry Pomegranate Margarita, both of which were terrific. Each of us ordered the Prime Rib, which was absolutely phenomenal! I had the Brussel sprouts and found them very good. The owner, M.J., came by to check on us & we certainly conveyed our satisfaction. Many places miss the target somewhere, but here... The staff, the drinks, the food, the atmosphere, I have nothing negative to say about our experience at this restaurant. Keep up the good work! We...
