Pizza Place — Restaurant in Adairsville

I’ve lived in a number of different cities and towns throughout Georgia, and I’ve enjoyed some pretty good pizza in a few of those locations. Automatic Pizza in Athens serves up enormous pies and IVP in Macon easily beats out the local competition. But of all the pizza I’ve ever had, anywhere, The Pizza Place’s pizza is #1 in my book. It’s not an exaggeration to say that my son and I visit this pizzeria every week. And if we can squeeze in an extra visit, so much the better.

FOOD QUALITY: 5/5 Phenomenal. The Pizza Place bakes stellar, mouth-watering, out-of-this-world pizza. The moment we arrive home after purchasing a pie, my son and I dive into the box like starving racoons. No one else is there to overhear our comments, but I assure you, it is a cacophony of “Mmm!” and “This pizza is the best!” I’ve ordered at least a dozen or more pizzas at this location, and I am forever amazed at how consistently good it is. The crust thickness is medium and the cheese is thick and juicy. Try the garlic knots as well, if you get a chance. You won’t be disappointed.

SERVICE: 5/5 Excellent. I am always thanked for my purchase and sent out with wishes to have a good afternoon or weekend. As a frequent customer, I’ve had the pleasure to engage in numerous friendly and personable conversations with Jason (owner) and the other employees. As Jason explained to an unhappy customer below, wait times vary depending on the time of day or the number of orders received. This is a small business operation, so yes, sometimes your food will be ready in just a few minutes and other times it will take longer. This has never been a point of irritation for me. “Good things come to those who wait,” as the saying goes. The people here are good people and they make high-quality pizza. Whether short or long, in my experience, the “wait” has always been worth it.

I never go out of my way to write a review but I have to say this place is great. My husband and I moved to Adairsville almost two years ago and since moving to the area the Pizza Place has become our favorite place to order out at. The staff are very kind and work super hard.
