I was hired 3 days ago immediately after I applied online. I was instructed the first day to take some computer classes to learn about the Papa John's family and what they where all about. After 4 hours on the computer I was thrown on the floor without any type of training. The Manager told me he was to busy and didn't have the proper help to have any type of training. I just needed figure it out . He constantly stopped me to tell me I was doing the tasks all wrong and he didn't have time to train me so I needed to figure it out quickly. The second day on the job again with no trainer I walked around and tried to watch others around me but was quickly feeling alone and not sure I wanted to be there anymore. I told myself things would get better and I finished my shift and headed home feeling sad and feeling upset that I wouldn't be able to learn the job I was hired to do.The third day on the job again. I was berated and constantly stopped and scrolled for not doing the task right by bob. I decided to try it one more day this being the fourth day. I went in and was told I needed proper training but he wasn't really good at training and was to busy to help me. I was staying busy when I started getting yelled at again. I was told by bob he couldn't understand why I was not fast enough and pretty much called stupid. I have never been treated so ugly by someone who didn't know me nor I him. I left Papa John after a couple of hours on my fourth day feeling defeated and hurt. If you decide to take a job there don't. I have never been so humiliated in my life and I am a usually and strong, smart woman. This Papa johns doesn't care about the employees and is run by a Fat red headed dude who is weird. I was hired to be a shift leader and he wanted me to know everything without...
Read moreThe manager there is great. But the guy that was in there the last couple days is a clown. Im a door dash driver, I walked in to get an order, which I was informed immediately was "coming out". The customer in front of me (sweet lady, had 52 hungry people waiting for her) had a large order and required 3 trips to her car. I offered to help, so between myself, sweet lady, and the clown, we got it in one. It was raining pretty hard. The clown and I came back in, he proceeds to sticking stickers on boxes, and standing around... Another 15 mins goes by... He hasnt even gone back to put my order in the boxes. Finally, I ask, "my order out yet?"... I swear, he looked me in the eye and casually says "yeah, I was just getting these other boxes ready.... " I looked around, nobody else is there to get an order, so I told him to get my order ready, I had to go. He says "oh? U got alot of orders?".... I waited a total of 46 mins for an order i was told was ready when i walked in. Now the manager I spoke of at the beginning happened to not be there for this... I hope she didnt quit, bc that store apparently doesn't operate without her. When shes there, ALONE, she makes sure that store...
Read moreI think I have found my new favorite pizza place! We were greeted as soon as we entered, the young man who took our order was polite, courteous and helpful, after we ordered as he handed me the receipt and informed us our order would be ready in 15 mins,so we decided to hit the Dollar General across from the restaurant to pick up some drinks etc. When we returned we were once again greeted upon entering, and let know our order was about to come out of the oven, while waiting as I was looking around admiring how neat and clean the store looked I came across their Health inspection and was pleasantly surprised to see a 99 score, they would have had a perfect 100 but somebody had forgotten to close the lid on the dumpster! Great job, Team Adamsville Papa John's!! Thanks for the awesome pizza, and garlic knots and for best customer service experience I've had in years!! I am a 30+ year veteran of customer service so I'm not always the easiest customer to win over but I will definitely be recommending y'all to everyone I know and coming back to see y'all every...
