Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Adamsville

I went with my boyfriend just a couple minutes ago, we pulled up to a stall, pushed the button, someone answered and I tried ordering but she told me she couldn’t hear me so I tried repeating myself, she then chose to stop taking my order and act like I was never there. Went to another stall and pushed the button, they answered but said absolutely nothing so I decided to go through the drive thru. They finally decided my money was worth it and the lady was rude. She kept rushing me to finish my order and then when we got to the window, I asked if my milkshake has brownies in it and she said no, then I tried to add brownies and she shut the window on me. We get home fully expecting to have a double cheeseburger meal and cheese sticks. They gave us the burger but no fries, turns out she didn’t ring me up a meal and didn’t even get the burger right. So this sonic needs to find new employees because I promise, working at sonic is not hard, I’ve done it and was nice to...

Ordered outside patio. Took a while because it was busy, but I was patient. Paid in that machine with my credit card.

Food came out 10-15min later and she asked me to pay. I said I already did. She told me it says o still owe her the $10.xx. Then she asked for a confirmation: I pointed to the screen (that wasn’t asking for any money, but showing the status of my food being prepared). She walked inside with my food. Had to pull up my bank statement to show her the pending charge + tip. When she came outside there was no apology, just handed me the food and went inside. Fries were cold because she left the food inside.

Def not asking for a remake because I don’t want my food messed with.

Burger was decent (would’ve been amazing if it was still warm), fries were barely warm, and the cherry limeade was amazing.

I am very sad about some of the menu changes, such as the flavors offered for drinks and the fact that you can no longer get pineapple added to the fresh fruit slush. There is now the only strawberry. Twice I have gone during happy hour (2-4) and even with just two or three cars (not busy at all), it took longer than 10 minutes to get 2 drinks. On a third visit, I left because no one ever answered after I pressed the button and I moved to another stall with the same result. It always seems clean and most of the servers are friendly, but sometimes it is just extremely slow for what is ordered. It is always good once you do get your order. I hope this location gets itself back on track bc I really enjoy going here for the drinks and my son just loves it. Every business experiences hiccups now and then and I guess this may be one of those moments...
