I recently placed a mobile order using the Burger King app, which instructed me to pick up my order through the drive-thru. After waiting an appropriate amount of time for my order to be prepared (three simple hamburgers), I drove to the drive-thru, gave my order number, and pulled up to the window as instructed.
This is where the experience went downhill. The employee at the window told me to drive to the front and wait, without offering any explanation. When I asked for clarification, he started speaking to me in an unprofessional and raised tone, despite me being polite and simply trying to understand the situation. He was completely unclear about my order and acted as though I had done something wrong by following the app’s instructions.
After being yelled at for no reason, I drove to the front as instructed and waited even longer. Another employee (not the one who yelled at me) eventually came outside. I explained my frustration and how long I had been waiting. He then went back inside and finally brought out my order after a few more minutes of waiting.
In total, it took almost 20 minutes to receive my three hamburgers – an unreasonably long wait for such a simple order. The rude and unprofessional behavior of the employee who handled my order at the drive-thru made the experience even worse. For reference, this individual was wearing something resembling a black ski mask.
This level of customer service is unacceptable. If I wanted to wait 20 minutes and deal with rude behavior, I could have gone elsewhere. Burger King needs to train its staff on professionalism and streamline their mobile order process to avoid frustrating...

I worked for the Fedex around the corner and on Friday nights we’d stop and grab food, never had a problem with the food or service. More recently, we stopped and asked for the $5 meal deal and the drive thru cashier said they don’t carry that even though the menu said to mention the deal in order to receive the price.
Today was the worst of any fast food experience, I’ll never ever get food from this Burger King as long as I work in the area. I asked for a chicken sandwich meal and I asked for light mayo. There’s clearly a white “sauce” on the sandwich. The cashier says, there’s no mayo on the sandwich. I said, ok sir, there’s something on there and he said no. Ok, I get the food, no receipt and in fact there was a white “sauce” on there. I couldn’t turn around as I was already on airport property, therefore I decided to call. Read moreI am very dissatisfied with the bad experience I had on Monday night. I went through the Drive Thru and when I got to the window I couldn’t find my card, so I tried to pay with $4 in cash. The manager closed the window and when he opened it again, I informed him that I had already found my card. At that moment he made a rude comment “the stupid one already found the card” but in Spanish. That kind of behavior is totally unacceptable. The manager must be aware of how he addresses customers, and even more considering that he cannot assume the client does not understand Spanish.
