I only write reviews on places I’ve had negative experiences at more than one time. Me and my coworker walked in and waited patiently because we knew we was next,3 more men walked in after us and was served before us. We was PURPOSELY IGNORED and it was 3 people behind the counter. A white couple come in and was instantly greeted. You don’t got to not like me for being black and I know that’s why but I spend money there and tip frequently. But best believe I will tell my workplace not to shop there no more because of the rude service. The young lady that do work there have great customer service and is attentive. Went a bolita de nieve and a torta de carne Asada on Saturday night 4/25/2025. And guess how they heat up their Carna Sada inside a Ziploc bag way microwave!!! That lady arrange the vegetables and start toasting my bread for the torta, she went and brought the Carne from the back of the ice cream shop in a plastic Ziploc bag melting in the bottom. Literally. I asked her if you microwave my meat and she says yes. I told her that that wasn’t right because soft plastic is not allowed to be inside microwaves combined with the food because obviously melts and she says no it’s OK and I told her no I don’t want the food no more and she throw the bag the Ziploc bag in the garbage right away continue attend business as usual. for the managers or owners who’s gonna read this review, you can see all these details in your surveillance cameras, and at least tried to educate your workers not to do this in front of the customers. I stopped in to get a mangonada as it’s a very hot day today. Love a good mangonada and of course the fresh cut up mango on top. My problem is my mangonada had pieces of mango that were dry and bland and just tasted bad. When you have a business that’s constantly selling these you’d think they know when a mango is good or not. Why use a mango that clearly isn’t good. It’s just bad business. They dressed up the mango chunks with chamoy so I couldn’t tell right away until I drove off and left back to work and had a piece.
