El Famous Burrito (Elmhurst) — Restaurant in Addison Township

I have been eating at various, El Famous Burrito locations for the past 30 years... This place was okay at best... The staff was very friendly and the pricing was in line with other locations... The issue that I have with this location is the cleanliness... The bathroom is probably one of the worst bathrooms I have ever seen at a restaurant... From the trash cans to the sink no paper towels the light switch was absolutely disgusting... The floor, walls, air dryer and the door knob...It looked as if none of these items have been wiped down or repainted in years...As I was eating I seen an employee go back to use the restroom and then come back out to take food orders and to cook... Did he wash his hands and then have to turn off the light and grab that door knob??? The light switch Is partially black from not being clean... Then, upon leaving the restaurant there are smudges of oils and fingerprints all over the glass doors...All of this was early in the morning just 2 hours after they opened and the place was empty, so it couldn't have been from the place being busy at that time... I think I'm going to pass on this location from...

Horrible horrible horrible customer service!!! First, he answered the phone, I could hear him talking and laughing and kindly waited for him to finish up whatever was more important than taking my order... I called in orders for my coworkers and I. Mind you it was 7 orders and money in their pockets. I specifically said separate orders and separate cards. This man wants to tell me over the phone next time have everyone send me the money to one card because this is an inconvenience to HIM. It slows down the process for his business! First of all, would he rather me show up with all 7 coworkers and make it worse? Or would he rather just swipe separate cards? It was very unprofessional, he started bickering over the phone how if I don’t like it I can take my business elsewhere, and he can cancel the orders. so I cancelled my order and of course gave my money to another spot!! Ridiculous! Idc how good the food is, I won’t spend my money with someone who’s rude and...

This is a very terrible place my first reason to hate this establishment is because when my father started speaking Spanish the manager started insulting me and my father which is very disrespectful because you are insulting a paying customer that is paying nearly 50 dollars for 5 small burritos and when your telling that customer that his vocabulary is wrong then your overall a terrible person and a restaurant owner. Aside from being basically told that you don't talk right the food is terrible some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had in my life the fries are garbage and the meat it self has an authentic flavor of truck stop bathroom poop crust and the smell of fecal matter. So if don't fell like being insalted like some sort of animal and expected to pay 40 dollars for trash go to...
