We’ve been bringing our dog, Lulu, to Tailgate Doggy Daycare for several months now, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff has been warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. They treat every dog like part of the family, and it’s clear they are passionate about what they do.

Lulu absolutely loves coming here. She gets plenty of exercise, socialization, and mental stimulation each day, and we can see how much happier and more relaxed she is after her visits. The staff is excellent at monitoring interactions to ensure all dogs play safely, and they provide updates and pictures throughout the day so we can see how Lulu is doing. That kind of communication is priceless for any pet parent.

The facility itself is clean, spacious, and well-organized, with designated areas for play, rest, and feeding. Safety and comfort are clearly priorities here, and it shows in every aspect of the business.

My dog Wrigley is a rescue and is very timid and submissive. She has never been away from home but we needed a place to board. My wife had read about Tailgates on the "Everything Elk Grove" site and we couldn't be happier that she found this place! The process with "accepting" dogs was awesome! They made sure all dogs are up to dates on shots, they have a questionnaire where you describe your dogs traits, they have a free "meet & greet" to see & learn about your dog and they placed Wrigley with other dogs that fit her demeanor. Nina at the front desk answered EVERY question that I had and was always super friendly. Mackenzie gave me a tour and suggestions on how to make Wrigley comfortable for an overnight stay. Jeff answered all my questions and filled me in on Wrigley's overnight stay when I picked her up. Her boarding was phenomenal! I cannot say enough GREAT things about our experience! I have owned dogs my whole life and Tailgates is THE BEST place that I have ever encountered for boarding my dog(s)! We LOVE Tail Gate and so does our dog, Mallow!! We cannot thank them, especially the manager Mary, enough for helping us make sure our dog was with us for our wedding day as our flower girl. We planned on boarding Mallow with them, and knew we wanted to have her at our wedding, but weren’t sure how we’d be able to get her there if she was boarded. We asked if they would be willing to transport her to our venue for the ceremony and hang around until it was over so we could get a few pictures, and then transport her back. Mary stepped up to the plate and made it happen! She was communicative leading up to the day and even made sure Mallow had a bath prior so she was looking her best. This wouldn’t have been possible without her and we are SO forever grateful for her willingness to do this for us. We have always had a great experience with everyone there, and Mallow gets so excited when we pull up and bring her in.
