I ordered on the app for the free cafe if you spend $1. Took longer than normal for them to confirm my order at the speaker. Told to go to first window. First window said to go to 2nd window. They hand me my drink and that's it. After about a minute they started handing me someone else's food, and I told them the situation. They said that my order was changed because I ordered breakfast and breakfast stopped. Great! I have no problem with that, but they didn't tell me that. Honestly they made it seem like they weren't made aware the order was changed, but I think they were and it was just a situation of people not wanting to deal with an upset customer, so they just passed it along and nobody ended up dealing with it. They hoped that I would say anything it something. Who knows. The point is, I was never made aware, and that is a major flaw. Whether it be the app, or the employees. So, I was told to pull up so I could talk to the manager, who just asked what the problem was and proceeded to tell me the same exact thing the other employees said. That I want charged for the sandwiches (2 for $2). The drink costs more. So I have to pay more for the mistake on top of it. I got my money back, the manager did absolutely nothing to resolve the situation, and I left with nothing but wasted time. They fixed the problem by giving me my money back, but didn't go above and beyond for the customer. If they were just honest and open with me from the beginning, I wouldn't be upset and I would be coming back there. Maybe someday I'll forgive them. Maybe.
If someone could please verify that they are made aware when in mobile app orders changed, that...
ย ย ย Read moreI'll start by saying that this is not my regular McDonald's, so I'm only at this location occasionally for a drive-thru soda while I'm waiting for my kids at sports. I've never been inside or ordered food here, so I cannot comment on the atmosphere or food. However, I had a strange experience today that has me baffled. I ordered my daughter a chocolate shake and attempted to pay with apple pay on my phone. I have paid this way before, but the girl at the drive thru asked me for my cc instead. She did not say that their machine was down or that they couldn't take that form of payment (which I have used here before) she just said "do you have your cc instead?" That seemed odd, so now I'm weary of my cc info being compromised. Otherwise why would she care for my card versus my apple pay? Then I was given a white shake. I pulled back thru the drive thru to say that I had ordered a chocolate shake and not a vanilla one, and the same girl told me that it was chocolate and they just look that way now. My daughter and I both tried it and it definitely tastes vanilla. But I'm not about to drive back again. It was all just a very strange and...
ย ย ย Read moreOne of the BEST McDonald's in this area. It was a beautiful night, my husband and I sat outside on the patio enjoyed ice cream cones. Yummm ๐ฆWe enjoyed watching the families with their little ones playing around the Play Place, because our children aren't little anymore. ๐ 17, 20, 23 Yikes! ๐ซฃWhen you realize you're a parent to adults and a high schooler!๐ค๐ฌ So besides my review, I'd like to add to enjoy your children while they are little. Play with them, kiss them, nurture them, hug hug hug them! Because once they've become owners of their own time. They will not want those hugs & kisses, they won't want to have child's play with you anymore. They seek their friends...raise them to be social, and empathetic. Respectfull and obedient.
