Naxos A Greek Island Restaurant — Restaurant in Addison Township

I made reservations about 6 weeks ago for my friend’s birthday last night. Even with lots of open tables, we were sat at a table up against the wall outside the kitchen entrance. As if that should have told us us we were really going to feel welcome, the rate we were severed with each course coming out right on top of each other was the next sign. The next sign was that they urgently wanted to take away plates before we barely finished… in some cases we didn’t finish. The next sign was not being asked if we wanted more drinks when we were done with our first and only drinks. They did fill our water glasses and did ask if we wanted coffee. But we were so rushed and still trying to catch up when the bill came. They didn’t ask if we wanted anything else so we just paid it. When we didn’t leave apparently as quickly was the manager wanted us to, he stood there and glared at me with a cold staring look. When I tried finishing our conversation, he moved to a.different part of the restaurant and gave the same cold mean glare to my friend, who we were trying to celebrate her birthday. Needless to say, our fun night out was completely ruined by the rude rushed service and lack of hospitality especially by the manager!

I will never be going back and do not recommend anyone going here if you’re not already one of their favorite...

The location has ample parking and is in a strip mall on Irving Park Rd. next to Dunkin’ Donuts. They have nice outdoor and indoor seating. The food is fresh, hot, made on the premise and is amazingly delicious! We tried 3 appetizers, 5 entrees and 2 deserts. Everything was served timely and there wasn’t any waiting even though the place was packed! Everything was so delicious. Whatever you order is going to be extra good here! Our waiter Spiros was impeccable the whole dinner. He was friendly, conversational and really added enjoyment to our family dinner.
