The Itasca Park District Waterpark is hands down one of our favorites! We loved the gated kids’ area, multiple waterslides, lap lanes, diving boards, and the fun vibrant environment 🌞 There are a lot of lawn chairs, umbrellas, and picnic areas throughout, plus concessions 🍕🍦 📍100 N. Catalpa Ave, Itasca, IL 🕒 Open daily mid-June to early Aug, weekends through Labor Day 💵 $10–$15 admission (resident & non-resident rates); season passes available (check their website) Tip: Go early for the Family Interactive area (10AM–12PM weekdays only $7) or enjoy evening swims Mon–Thu! 🏊‍♀️ Truly a hidden gem for summer fun! ☀️💧 #SummerVibes #FamilyFun #PoolDay #ChicagolandFun #IllinoisAdventures #chicagotiktok

Two adults and one 2 year-old total entry pay was $45. Yupp a 2 year old who can’t swim is charged like an adult $15. That’s not even the worst part. As a customer who paid full price expects to experience the full fun activities that is stated on their website/online right? Nope! They had two slides closed and whirlpool broken. (One slide being the biggest main event slide, and a whirlpool that this kids love broken). I walked into the Manager hunt and ask the young kid wearing a manager shirt why was I not notified before purchase that I wasn’t gonna receive my full experience after paying in full? The manager quickly answered and stated ,”that they were shortstaffed, and it was for safety Just shut down slides they can’t be staffed and that the whirlpool was broken”. Listen, I’m all about safety especially with kids. However, this Information about not having the availability of a full service and full experience pool should’ve been posted and brought to attention of the customer before purchase an entry. I was 100% robbed from my full experience and money. The manager’s solution of this upsetting topic after I gave him an example of another pool (Bloomingdale Oasis ) and what they did by posting an attention letter before swiping your card was that they would do the same. To add to the rambling, when my family and I arrived five minutes from opening and the first thing I did was used their family restroom. It was a mess, So unless it was done within the first five minutes of opening, or they’re just lacking attention. An hour later before leaving, I took a look at the front desk and there was no letter or anything posted on the window. I hope our conversation wasn’t a waste of breath.

It's a decent place but the fact that a 2 year old kid has to pay full price is kinda messed up. Admission is only $15 which is reasonable for adults and teenagers, but not for a 2 year old toddler. It would of gotten 5 stars but again 2 year old full fare brought it down to 3 stars. Other then that we had a good time here until that rain sneaked in and everyone had to get out of the water, so the hour we spent inside the pools was fun for our toddler, would of been nice to get refunded or half back. Cause there's was no rain in the radar and it just happened. It is what it is.

Beautiful facility, however they randomly close sections of the Waterpark like the kids pool without reason or notice. Hours on the website mean nothing. Got here 30 mins ago, after 10 mins I hear an announcement that the water slide is closing then 15 minutes later they announce the kids pool is closing. Now when I paid at the front desk they stated all was open till 5pm. They are only closing the kids sectionals slide.. but rest is open till 5 pm.. seriously? What's the point? Someone said they do this regularly due to low headcount because it's not worth it to keep things open. Just now as I'm typing this they are closing rest of the pool.. seriously!

Suggestion to all... find a different water park to give your money to... this...

We had such a fantastic time at Itasca Water Park! This place is a hidden gem — perfect for families, friends, or anyone looking to cool off and have fun. The park is super clean and well-maintained, with plenty of shaded areas and seating for relaxing between swims.

The pools are great for all ages, from the splash areas for little ones to the slides and diving boards for older kids and adults. Lifeguards were attentive and on point, which made us feel safe the entire time. The atmosphere was lively but never overwhelming, and the staff was friendly and helpful from the moment...
